Hmm, these first episodes are so different from the trailers. Completely different genre and atmosphere. I was really waiting for this drama expecting a comforting beautiful slice of life drama. But instead it looks like a black comedy, lots of exaggerated abuse and misery. This just my personal impression. Don't tell me just to shut up, leave or not to lift my expectations too high if it's not my cup of tea. Please. I am sorry.
The script and dialogs are bad. The story is so weird and unique.. but there are many dark and weird stories with wholesome script and dialogs... The actors are pretty good actually, I wish they had a good script for this story..
I am sorry I want to express this. I can't accept Jeong Ji So as Maha, this kept giving me pain through all the show. She doesn't look like an idol, singer or dancer to me. Of course it's not because of her natural features. She just doesn't have it in her, as for me. To make it more disturbing, her hair looked like a bad wig and make up was unnecessary overdone. I wish they'd taken more time and find an idol, dancer for this role. And let Jeong Ji So do other dramas and movies as an actress instead. Also the main couple had no chemistry, for me. The plot was primitive. Ryok was boring as a character too. Well this all might be just my own perception, it's only my opinion.
To give it some positivity at last, I quite liked other actors and characters, they were alright. Although I guess it is just because these characters didn't have to be the center of attention, so there was no much room for dragging them with lack of ideas. Kim Min Seo as Ri Ah is a gem, and her pairing with HwiYoung was flattering. I liked Jiyoung here. And I also discovered Yunho. 💚 It was may be the first time I've seen a drama with so many raw details of insides of idol industry, although it's a simplified exaggerated imitation of the actual industry, it still was interesting to some extend.
I'm dropping it at ep 11. After the romance started few episodes ago the script and WooYeo character seem flat and cliche for my experience. But at the same time there're also some interesting twists and characters that made me hesitate about dropping. I love Lee Dam by Hye Ri, she is driving this show. And I rather like Sun Woo and the story about red thread on Dam and SunWoo and how it is executing. As the romance unfolded, WY doesn't look like a 1000 y.o. creature anymore. I don't see any personality in him anymore. For a small example of script flaws: The bead transmission again idea was fun itself, only if it had a deeper meaning and impact... How they actually executed it was off. It came out of WY and got into Dam too easily, and that's just for them to kiss? It feels so dumb of idea that I wish there wasn't this moment at all. The kiss was sensual though. Well, sensual kisses is the only flattering thing I get from WY.
I don't want to doubt her but maybe it's Prof. Kim who sent Seung Jae's video to Prosecutor Jin? The one who took…
It doesn't seem like that to me at all. The video was shown to be watched in a car, the motorbike delivered it to. So I think it was sent by whoever was in that car.
I understand SR. Her family is threatened to be tortured in that anti-communist investigators cells. Didn't you see or hear how they torture others there? Of course SR is afraid to death, everyone would be. But yes she is stupid for starting all that act of MH going on dates instead of her, she is still young, naive and cocky, she did that mistake because she is used to always get away from punishment for her protests. So I have mixed feeling for her, I want to blame her but can understand at the same time.
I find myself waiting something creepy from Lee Jung Eun's character even here, after watching her in 'Strangers from Hell' and 'Parasite'. Or is it her character here that is supposed to give creepy vibes because she is scripted to turn out to be a villain later?..
I don't understand how people like Gong Joo Young, he is so disturbing, forcing and stupid. Though he is kinda sweet but in a very stupid and creepy way. I feel bad for FL, I'd go insane because of such a stalker. I hate that kind of forcing behaviour.
I don't like the main couple. Their awkwardness is not real, it has no life, no dimensions or nuances. I mean it's not realistically filmed awkwardness, if that makes sense. I am tired with this directing or acting. I am not sure whats wrong. But I feel like its overall production, not actors fault, because it's same with other characters.
I love fast burn romances and don't usually like that typical dragging ones. But there are some dramas with good slow pace romances that I adore. I don't have sls. Triangles are either just (mostly) a disturbing cliche or (rarely) a beautifully written story. 1 and 3 annoy me as much as they annoy you.
omg watching porn is an illness? Seriously? May be they mean watching illegally taken porn, i.e. taken without…
That doctors are not professional. Their approach to other cases was sometimes incompetent too. I was expecting more and much better from a "mental illness concern" drama. I only like the two leads and will try to keep watching the drama for them.
omg watching porn is an illness? Seriously? May be they mean watching illegally taken porn, i.e. taken without consent, is an illness? Or only excessive watching of porn is an illness, i.e. when it distracts your normal life to an extend to ruin your finances, relationships, job, nutrition etc.? I mean they didn't specify that. They propagate the idea that just "watching porn is an illness and a crime". Well, taking pictures of people without consent may be a crime, and uploading them is a crime. Especially when the face is seen. I agree. And the problem is that other people support that crime by using that website with illegally taken photos. But aside from that, they also stigmatize and criminalize natural sexual feelings of any kind in the drama by blaming them for that feeling. I mean who cares what people think watching that pictures taken by someone else, if they don't abuse or rape anybody? Is it an illness and crime to feel sexual desires by seeing strangers legs, of any other parts, of a dressed person? They spread hate for sexual feelings of any kind when they don't explicitly specify that only certain extend of that desires is an illness.
I really hate how Gi Tae essentially turns out to be the "good guy" at the end. Pathetic.
He didn't out as a good guy at all. I don't see where you saw that. He was just mad and possessive and wanted to know what happened and to take revenge not for goodness but for his pride.
I just finished this and can someone explain the ending for me? It was kinda confusing and I have some questions…
Another question: when the detective came to JiSoo's house, KiTae wasn't there, right? When JiSoo looked up from the stairs I thought he might be looking at KiTae. I thought there were going to be another fight... Might be not. May be that was the detective. Or may be JiSoo was just staring at the air. But I was wondering about KiTae.

And the husband of FL is such a disguising psychopath. I feel such hatred for him that I can't keep watching this drama mostly because of this character.
It started as a unique story with new fresh kind of female lead. But then it's just repeating of chasing, getting caught, betrayed, miracle'ish surviving by ep 5/16.
The story reminds of dramas of 2000s filled with too many of overdramatic events and coincidences. For me it has too many of uninteresting and unnecessary scenes. Dropping it at ep 5.
This just my personal impression. Don't tell me just to shut up, leave or not to lift my expectations too high if it's not my cup of tea. Please.
I am sorry.
