Dropped at this point (ep 25-26). Was thinking of this since week or two ago. Love the actors, love the past book story invention and all the connections to it, love JooDa's trasformation and DoHwa. But the majority of the scenes with DanOh, Haru, Kyung and others are repetitive and boring af. The script is problem for me. I don't even feel anything for what's about to happen with DanOh, as well as her interactions with Haru and others. May be I will come back later for some key scenes and parts that I like, in future episodes.
I disagree on The Great Seducer. It's one of my fav dramas, and though Joy could've been better, still I loved her there, and she didn't ruin the drama for me. I understand that you expressed your own opinion and it's it quite common as this drama has low rating, and it's okay. I just wanted to express my disagreement. Woo Do Hwan is one of my most favorite actors too!
This may or may not be the case but I think Search: WWW brought about even more recognition to him recently so…
As for me it's both his character and acting that don't match in this drama. Some actors can play this kind of bad tempered characters well and still be kind of attractive. Him as Baek Kyung doesn't give me that impression, it's just not his role as for now.

After your comment I tried to watch a clip from WWW with LJW in it and for me he is better there than in Extraordinary you. He seems likable and more human there!
I needed to say that I am not into Lee Jae Wook, he is not my type of looks and I don't get all the hype over him. Hope there are more people who feel the same, I don't want to feel lonely about this x) Not hating in any means, he is cute behind the scenes (the real ones). Not in Rowoon team either. I just like Kim Hye Yoon's performance here, she is so lovable and full of expressions that look organic to her character. As for guys I like Jung Gun Joo performance the best, I like the guy and the character.
I was glad to see an article about Last friends. I've I watched this drama several times during past years. It's still one of my favourites. I love Japanese dramas for realism.
Almost agree with you on all the points, accept I don't hate its realism and I don't feel like it's too real, I wished it to be even more realistic. Yes, Michiru was too weak and pathetic, I hated her, but I liked that creepy realism about her kind of persons, the actress portrayed her well. Sosuke was hateful and at some point pitiful, yes, but Ryo's acting lacked, as for me.
Actually for me the female lead here is Ruka. She stands out so much for me.
I am fully agree on things you loved. The song is perfect and one of the best thing about this drama, it brings the drama on another emotional level. For me Ruka is the best role of Ueno Juri, her acting and the character were so deep, real and nerve-wrecking. Eita's character is lovable, his acting is so natural, as always in all his works he so into the character and real.
There is another drama 'Sunao ni Narenakute' with Eita and Ueno Juri that has similar feel: pain, taboo, lgbt, abuse, frendship, love, great ost. I love it may be even more than 'Last friends'. I believe those who like Last frinds will not want to skip Sunao ni Narenakute.
So boring. I kept watching. skipping most of the scenes, just for PBG's expressions. I wasn't fond of him before at all, but this time he drew my attention. But still the plot and all the characters are shallow and boring. Almost waste of time..I didn't expect it from so-called top star cast. In case anybody strongly disagree with me, it's just my impression, pls respect my opinion.
Even after ep 10 I feel 0 to 1/10 chemistry between the leads. And mostly its because of SHK. (But as for me I have never seen any chemistry from her in other dramas, even with Song JoongKi). The chemistry is n the secretary + restaurant owner couple, really.
Question to those who ask how the drama is and if you should watch it - I wonder how the ton of non-spoiler comments describing the drama posted here till now doesn't help you with your questions?
It wasn't expressed clearly why Jin Gook made those decisions. All he said was "do what you are told to!!" and "sorry i was wrong". This bothers me. They mean we suppose to assume and reflect all that by ourselves. I mean I can do that. But I wish the drama had more details.
Why the older guy Jung Yi Hyun has to be so mean and annoying with his over expressive acts... I am trying to skip all his scenes. Still I like the other four main characters, cant drop it yet.
Laughed so hard during that dialogue when Jin Kang asks about the cat, and Moo Young responds that it's busy cuz…
The translation is a bit off. He said "it(the cat) got a pretty girlfriend". Not a boyfriend. I've noticed that when saw the translation, while in korean he is clearly saying "pretty girlfriend". So he is referring to the cat as a male
This is just opposite to the kind of drama I like. From the teaser and the cast I expected something smooth, beautiful, deep, dramatic, unique, may be relatable. But it is another cliched show about the world of rich and mighty people with comics-like cliched exaggerated script and actions.
I don't want to watch this drama anymore. I was gradually annoyed by the truth slipping away so sillily countless times. I am finally done at the 11th episode. Even though I like the characters. I will wait till it's fully aired then fast forward it to see what was there and satisfy my urge to see the truth unfolded moment x)
