I just finished this and liked it a lot!! Don't let the vertical format throw you off , I thought it was such a fun and cute drama 🥹💖 The plot might sound weird, but I thought it was unique and they cleared things up nicely! There were also some funny moments that made me laugh out loud haha The acting was also good!
I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch something short and lighthearted 💓

I became a fan of Bae Inhyuk while watching Our Universe 🥹 So far, besides Our Universe, I've also finished all the dramas where he's the main lead (Park's marriage contract, Cheer Up, Check in Hanyang, XX, Kiss Goblin)! Idk if it's just my biased opinion because I like watching him lol But I had a lot of fun watching them all! They were all very entertaining dramas for me 🤗 I noticed that he often plays the green flag male lead who becomes a cute loser in love hahaha

I hope the casting about Modern Sharehouse gets confirmed soon! The plot sounds interesting and I'd love to see him with Jin Kijoo!!

I don't rly get the negative comments tbh! I thoroughly enjoyed every episode, especially the earlier ones which were more lighthearted and fun! I don't think there was any boring episode for me 🤗

The ending was cute, I love wholesome endings like these where all the characters get together and have a happy time 🥹 Also loving the cute behind the scenes montage of our baby star actor at the end 🥹💖

Honestly, if if weren't for the baby and the uncle, I wouldn't have finished this drama 😭 These two truly carried the whole show!
It's such a shame, because this could've been a wonderful heartwarming drama but the writer had to ruin it with the love triangle 😩

It would've made more sense to show the family court stuff in the middle (maybe around ep 4-6?). And through that experience the ml and fl get closer and their little family becomes more solid... this way it would've been possible to also show a good development of the ml and fl relationship and showing how their love blossoms... that way their sudden love confessions wouldn't have felt so rushed and unnatural 🫠

The sunbae stuff could've been completely left out!! But even if they really needed to add the love triangle, they could've wrapped it up in maximum 2 episodes 🙄 I actually liked how sunbae quietly supported the fl towards the end instead of being a nuisance lol They wanted to show that he's a good guy, so that would've been way better than him inserting himself into their life by force 😬

Anyways, the show had so much potential and the baby truly saved it for me lol Also thanks to this show, I got interested in Bae Inhyuk and found a great actor to stan 😂 I don't regret watching it!

Episode 11 had the same charm as the earlier episodes 🥹🫶 I loved seeing Wooju's mischievous antics!! The ML and FML lovey-dovey scenes were indeed kinda cringe but I think that's only because the writers didn't let their relationship and love develop properly so it feels a bit rushed... (curse all the sunbae scenes!!)
But still, I enjoyed seeing them happy, especially Bae Inhyuk is honestly so good at playing a loser in love hahaha I'm diving into fangirl mode here, but he's so cute when he's happy like that 😂

Gotta say, Sunbae was bearable this episode and I didn'tmind him... he even lowkey helped Hyunjin out with the phone call... but this kind of support is what he should've done since the beginning! Not being a creep and overstepping boundaries 😭

Omg and also, can we talk about how much of a creep the sunbae is.... because tell me whyyyy did he call her and ask if he can come to her house when he's already standing outside?! Creepy much??? Also the way he just showed up at the recital unprovoked??? Even Hyunjin was wondering how he knew about it?? I think the writers wanted to show that he's a good person but all his actions just feel so off and stalker-ish 😬😬😬 Also I can't mention enough how his acting here feels so stiff... (fml's acting here is also quite lacking imo...)

It's crazy how Inhyuk and Jeongeui have quite a good chemistry in the behind the scenes but because of the horrible writing and because their scenes got cut in the drama (whyyyy did they cut out the almost kiss scene 😫) and unnecessary sunbae scenes got inserted instead, the chemistry between the ml and fml in the show became lacking 😭 In the show, they even had better chemistry in the beginning when they hated each other 😭
The airport kiss scene should feel romantic and accomplished but because there was so much sunbae in between, it feels kinda forced and rushed now 😭

I hope they will build up their chemistry and relationship in the last two episodes... but it'll be hard to salvage the show at this point 😭

I saw many ppl compare the love triangle from Our Universe to the one in Cheer up... So im back here after finishing Cheer up 😂
I don't think the love triangle stuff in cheer up was as bad as in our universe! In cheer up, it was quite obvious that the FL liked the ML and she has always been quite clear about it, she also rejected SML many times. Here, the FL is being way too wishy washy and indecisive... also, in cheer up the FL and the ML had a lot of cute and heart fluttering scenes together and imo the ML did not get overshadowedby the SML! Here, the SML really kinda overshadows the ML with many annoying unnecessary scenes 🥲

Also the focus of the two dramas are different... in cheer up it was about youth so a love triangle kinda fits into the story line (and it was already predictable since the beginning). But in our universe, the focus should've been on the young aunt and uncle having to suddenly raise a baby and showing us how they overcome problems together.... there's no justification for a triangle here 😭

I wasn't expecting much because a lot of the comments were negative but this drama was so much fun!!! It had a lot of funny and touching scenes and the ending was great 🥹 I didn't mind the love triangle here much, because it was quite obvious that the FL has liked the ML since the beginning. FL was just confused for a bit in the middle but other than that she has always been clear about who she actually likes! I don't understand how people can prefer the SML over the ML. SML wasn't that bad but he had a lot of red flags... and ML was just overall more charming imo 🥹 FL and ML had so many cute moments together too!!
Imo this drama deserves a higher rating!

Also, I'm sorry and I hope ppl don't feel offended... but compared to BIH, PSH's and RJE's acting feel so bland and stiff (even compared to the baby... )🥲 Idk if it's just because the way the characters are written.... I didn't mind PSH in semantic error (tho in that drama I also preferred Jaechan's acting) and I also watched another drama with RJE that was fine (but she played a side character only)...

I feel so bad for the ML... It's his first time that he felt like he has a home and a family and someone to rely on (FL)... but it gets ruined by the 2ML and FL being wishy-washy.... then he is slowly starting to trust his father but this gets destroyed as well 🥲 He looked and sounded so sad in the ep9 preview 😭

The development with SML and FL is genuinely making me feel so upset 😫😫😫 Seriously I'm so sad and frustrated about this.... I was so happy and always looking forward to this drama but now.... I feel so bad for ML and Wooju :(((

You summed up what I've been thinking about the SML too! The way he always tries to insert himself and overstep the boss-emplyee boundary is creepy to me 😬 Even though they knew each other before and almost became a couple (but only almost!) he is still her boss currently! And because of his behaviour there are also rumours about her in the company!

The FL's indecisiveness is really annoying 😩 We know from the preview that in tomorrow's episode she'll still spend a lot of time with SML... but im hoping that after tomorrow she will make her decision and stick with the ML 🥲

I know I'm only continuing this show because of the baby and the ML 😭
