probably, kinda feels like a case of an unreliable narrator- FL, especially with the camera movements and direction. even if the events are cannon, still the pills she takes and stuff- there's more to it, cause girly is barely keeping it together.

Go back couple is a must watch in my opinion. It's married couple energy pro max, ahaha.

Thank you, I'm glad there are people who enjoy this drama! the chemistry is palpable and I'm so glad that we finally get a FL who treats the ML like he DESERVES to be treated. No drama, just pure heart, straightforward attitude without beating around the bush. She wastes no time and the ML's reactions to her forwardness are so worth watching, he's smitten.

This one reminds me of how much fun I had with Angel's Last Mission: Love. Ah, been so long since I've seen a FL like the ML THIS MUCH, so satisfying. I'm really enjoying this drama like a giddy teenager.

NOT NANA BRAGGING ABOUT BEING A FUCKING ANGEL in front of an actual angel when she was a measly palace maid lmao. She even deviced an entire kdrama plot about how the nations fought over her beauty. And her drunk shalula attempt to fly in front of the Cupid. I can't- LOL, this drama is so unserious HAHA.

Caught up to ep 10. The negative comments on MDL and the shit poster caused the delay, but this is totally my style and really hits the spot for rom com fans. So, I'm leaving this for future watchers who are debating whether to start. It's seriously underrated, so at least try the first episode, ignore the negative comments. Yes, it has a serial killer plot (kinda fun tho, but I don't take this seriously), yes it has a cop SML (though no love triangle on the FL's part- she is down BAD for the ML my lawd), yes there was a minor hiccup on the FL's part (plot convenience) in ep 10 but apart from these aspects, they have really nailed some fundamental ROM + COM elements.

1. The comedic moments are too funny. Genuinely, I have laughed out loud- rare. I will always support rom coms that bring the comedy- the hardest genre to pull out tastefully. There is also a lot of situational and physical comedy, kind of like double entendre with just expressions and no dialogues. It's seriously funny.

2. The pacing is quick and the story is very layered. The plot feels so unique in comparison and has a lot of nuance to it, which makes it the most intriguing. All the reincarnations eventually make sense. It's a rom-fantasy fan's dream.

3. Even though the ML claims that he doesn't have feelings for the FL, he doesn't go the typical ML route of pushing her away, treating her coldly and pretending to be indifferent. He treats her very kindly. I like that you can always see in his facial expression that he's just lying to himself. The FL sees this too. I really enjoy this aspect. The ML is a open book.

4. The drama is very self-aware. When the FL and ML act irrationally due to love~~, the drama acknowledges this and makes fun of it through good dating advice. Nana is consistently taking every chance she can to be unhinged on camera and her best friend is an amazing foil to this. Being the audience, this is super fun.

5. THE REINCARNATION PLOT IS PERFECT. The way they introduced this, and revealed piece by piece, just right. No dragging, enough teasing and creating mystery. It's so hard to keep viewers engaged and I genuinely feel that the writing won here. AND THE WATER MILL MOTIF. You'll know when you'l know.

Bottomline, you can really FEEL the chemistry. This is very important for me. If you just watch it for the rom com fantasy cupid plot, you will seriously enjoy it. It has a reincarnated lovers plotline- which I think is executed with nuance. There is something organic about this show, the plot, the direction and the leads, that just draws me in compared to the other 3 Sat dramas airing rn. If you want a thriller- go watch Death Game or something else. It has kdrama flaws, but really does perfect justice to the important romance parts.

I actually thought that the SML being the stalker was the twist coming in later cause the physique of the SML and the stalker is the same. So, I was dumbstruck when the FL caught on to that. Well, at least, she isn't dumb and her suspicions aren't very off.

You know the best part- Just like the FL, we also wanted to believe in the husband (cause Go back couple lol), so when I saw her enter the anniversary date and then see that his gallery is filled with the daughters' pics, her half-cracked smile amidst all the suspicion really melted my heart.

EXACTLY. Usually, in these makjang type of revenge dramas, there is always one good guy. BUT. Here, I don't see him? Where is he? I even wore my glasses and our poor FL has to go through so much shit. She even has a kid to worry about. Like, could this get any worse? AH.

Yes, the best, I love them both a lot as well, as actors and as characters, the plot was also so well written. And do you remember the car scene? With the ML doing a parkour kinda run and jump, then pointing a gun to the antagonist, and then announcing "Let go of my woman." OH GOD MY REPLAY BUTTON BROKE.

So glad that this drama is loved, cause it's so underrated, it has everything.

Watched both already. I'm out of married couple recs honestly, but glad there's love for FoE and especially, Happiness (such a power couple, my lawd).
