He's in two dramas I watched -- from cutesy second ML to unhinged psycho, this man has such amazing acting range. Just let this man be the main male lead already in this decade 😭 He deserves it. You literally spoiled a huge part of the show, I literally can't watch it now. Never said it was my only priority, it's the reality that it's ruined after such a huge spoiler. If someone acts tough and threatening online that's when that is used, not in this scenario where you just can't accept criticism of your actions that ruined other people's viewing experience. I just watched it for the first time and finished it. The screenwriters, directors, editors etc want me to believe that K2 started falling for Anna because she was dancing with ramen 😂 Give me a break. Anna's plotline ruined what was a much more interesting story between politics and a badass framed solider. K2 turned into a fool for her and Anna kept getting taken hostage.

I agree, it may have been great at the time but man the ridiculous story and damsel in distress ages poorly in 2024. And maybe if I was a teen as well/ but as an adult this was a rough watch. Choi Yoo-Jin was the only reason I could watch, the actress carried.

Love her so much! ❤️❤️❤️ An amazing actress that breathes life into every character she plays. She's classy and elegant but also so badass in her roles. She's really captivating to watch on screen, I couldn't take my eyes away and was on the edge of my seat in every scene she was in that I've watched. There's acting and then there's actually bringing a character to life..she does the latter and makes it look so effortless -- even though I know it must be hard work. I can not sing her praises more. Normally I focus on male actors and their talent, honestly she's probably the most talented actress I've come across. Love her so much and hope she does more work.

Wow thanks for the untagged spoiler, was about to watch this but now I literally have no reason to watch it and won't watch it, all from this comment single-handedly. You seriously ruined an entire show for me and likely other people, congratulations! Absolute clown behavior. Try to be more careful not to ruin things for everyone else.

I've been unfortunate enough to come by a lot of dramas that completely lose the plot! Like why can they not remember what story they're trying to tell? The actions of the characters are going completely against the entire established theme! Why spend hours of viewers' times conveying such powerful themes only to take a crap on them at the end? They not only did those themes no justice but actively went OPPOSITE against them. I think they sadly forgot the entire point of this drama by the end. They wrote in a pathetic cliche and I can't think of the reason why or what they thought it would serve to the story. It's one thing if she had to go back to the city to live her life and develop her career, it's not impossible to work with that decision in the story, but for her to -- as you said -- pretend nothing happened is just silly and doesn't really make much sense. It's very obvious how forced and nonsensical the script was to have that in. It served nothing to the theme nor either of their character developments in any capacity.

Honestly the people involved in this project should be embarrassed to have their names attached. I would be embarrassed to have worked on the set of this even if my name wasn't mentioned in the credits. The directors should be ashamed of themselves and quit their careers before changing their names and identities entirely. The rare times a kdrama includes diversity in its cast and this is what you guys do with it...absolute horror shows like this will discourage future diverse casting ideas bc it tells both the audience and showrunners respectively that diverse content is both trash and will be received as trash. When in reality, you guys just did a terrible job, and no one will ever want to make or watch something similar ever again.

Godh sorry but the "actress" was the worst of all. A good actor, no, a mediocre actor could have at least breathed some life into the crappiest of scripts. This girl put about as much emotion and believability in her lines and acting as a text to speech audio recording. But nowadays even that is a bit better. Siri puts more emotion in her voice than this girl, and that's not an exaggeration. Tommy Wiseau had a more believable performance and is broadway in comparison. And I know for a FACT that AI could give a better performance even in its current early stages. I don't like leaving negative comments about artists online because as someone who works as a full time video editor and has worked in other arts, I know how hard it is to be vulnerable and how hard criticism can hit. But this is the one time in my entire life where I really wanted to convey to a fellow artist to just....just never do this again. I'm literally begging you to give up on acting. If THIS is how you're going to perform, then please never act again. This performance is just not it. There's no way to sugarcoat it or describe it as something other than completely awful. And it should be criticized because acting is tough work and training and it's your job to perfect your craft. No one can say this acting was good unless they are either literal children or if they did keg stands and pre-gamed the thing before watching -- literally watching intoxicated. Or had something else wild in their system.

I know I'm going in on this actress but she doesn't get all the critique, she wasn't the only one doing terribly, just definitely the worst I've seen in a long while and the worst IMO here in this drama. I'm critiquing so harshly because I don't understand how she was able to get cleared for this role. Was she competing with a single cardboard box for this role? Also confused how they storyboarded, recorded, edited, promoted, and then released this and all thought it was okay. It's giving me cognitive dissonance because how could you think this is okay? Then the audacity to release a season 2?? Delusion is a powerful thing.

I'll stop going in on this actress, I'm just seriously so disappointed when things like this will ruin it for the future. It's not entirely her fault, the directors get the main blame. But I have to say, I truly think that there are no "bad actors" here..just bad acting. Perfect your craft, there's no excuse for this. And that applies to the writers too. So desperate to appeal to American Kdrama fans that they pick actors based off of certain looks and not talent and just write a trash script and hope to profit. They made a character for their fan base (predominantly white and american) to be able to insert into and relate. But it was cringe. This was a marketing strategy with the intent to grab more customers and boost site traffic, but it failed miserably. No one would even want to pirate this even if it wasn't free let alone purchase a Viki subscription to watch any more things on your platform. Even with this show being free, I would actually pay to NOT watch it so I guess it's good marketing if I would be willing to pay. Seriously, this is shameful, either do better or never release anything original again. You guys make originals on the streaming platform Peacock and the Lifetime Channel look like Quentin Tarantino films or films released straight from Heaven. Jersey Shore and Keeping Up with the Kardashians are critically acclaimed shows in relation.

Sigh...Only faith I have left is that there are some Korean-- legit Korean--newer shows with diversity that are actually NOT cringe which will in turn encourage things in the right direction. This is very obvious that it was filmed in America with no actual respect to Korean culture, people and filmic storytelling as well. This show was clearly an Americanized take and it's fine to create art but it's shameful to give such poor representation of all parties involed. You made a mockery of both Koreans and Americans allowing bad performances and writing the lead's character to be incredibly disgraceful. Same goes for the Korean characters which were not written well at all. If you're wanting to appeal to a global audience Viki, then so be it, just don't release filth. You can try and advertise a piece of trash as a piece of gold but it'll still be trash.

I just gave literal facts about censorship laws and why you shouldn't push the blame solely on the actress, and that censorship is a part of Korean culture whether you like it or not. Agreed! I love her acting in this. People complain about the loud crying and whining but that literally makes it real??? It's not over the top or exaggerating, I'd say it's just right for the circumstances. Actually I love how these actors were all willing to ugly-cry for their role in this.
