Looking for kdrama recs of the same genre.I've watched this a few years ago and this raised my standards too high…
I totaly understand you. After Signal, the only drama of the same genre I truly enjoyed was When a Snail Falls in Love. I suggest you try at least 4 episodes to get into the story and see if you'll like it. I wasn't hooked at first but it became really interresting once the two main protagonists met.
Excellent....but what's with the weird cinematography for the scenes in the past?!? It is very uncomfortable to…
If you're talking about the screen format, I guess it's how it was back then on TV. Where I'm from, we used to watch TV on 9:3 screens back in the 90's.
Knetz hated that game bcs it was so dangerous and that's why they deleted it from this episode.
I totaly understand Knetz reaction. I also think it was dangerous for no good reason and children would definitely try to copy it at home. If no one is watching them doing this rubber band game and one end up around their neck, it could lead to a tragedy. I love RM but they should have understood that way earlier.
Quite honestly, this is the best adaptation I ever watched. I loved the anime and I love the drama just as much, some parts even more. The characters are greatly portrayed by their actors and the adjustements to the story only add more depth.
Only 357 people watching this? This is pure gold, seriously! If you're hesitating because you know nothing about…
Soo true, that is such a tiny number for such an enjoyable drama. I loved the anime and I still love the drama ^^ It has the same feel. The music is the same, maybe that's part of why. It brings back memories. This is just perfect for a calm day.
I get the feeling that this screenwriter had plenty zombie scenarios in stock and created a chatterbox just to present them in this drama. Result : nearly no progress to the main story. Too bad. I loved Zombie Detective in the beginning but not so much anymore as I'm not interested in other potential scenarios. Not even for fun.
It was the end. Fans asked for a second season and the writter agreed. But as far as I know, what you watched…
Just after the writer supposedly agreed, she was hired by Netflix for Kingdom so I think this project for a second season is never going to happen. Unfortunately...
I see several comments hopping there won't be any romance. Well, I have to voice a different opinion. I actually would love it if there was romance between Do Won and Seo Kyung! Her past is different but she still became the same kind of person, meaning she is the same with just some little changes. I believe World A Do Won and World B Do Won will end up exchanging worlds or one of them is going to die to make it work...
I also read that there were lots of incoherences. To me, there was maily one and it's that they remember both…
PS: I know I'm no good at recognizing people but I saw how bad it was with Woo Do Hwan. Even when his two characters were next to each other, I could hardly see them as the same person. He can really play various roles, he's a great actor.

Lol Sorry. A1=A2, same person, Yi Gon.Him from the first trip to the past, I called him A1. Him from the second trip to the past, I called him A2. It's him from the same world but from different time periods.
In my second scenario : Yes, A and B are from different worlds. B is Yi Gon from another world, a world where he never got the badge. In other world, A2 (Yi Gon from the second trip to the past) didn't go to his past but to the past of another him (B) who is from another world.
In my first scenario, if it's a time-travel drama (warning: headache ahead): A1 already went to the past, so A2 should have seen A1 when he went back to the exact same time. For A2 to be there, meaning to take the decisions that will make him come here, A1 has to do exactly as he did before. Why?Because A1 is the past of A2. If A1 runs into A2, then A1 actions will be different from what it was supposed to be. For A1 to do exactly as he did before despite the change, he has to remember both lives.
Lol I'll stop there with the explanations. You should try the old TV serie Sliders. If you loved this drama, you'll love Sliders and you might understand this whole parallel worlds thing better.

Ahah I get what you are saying. Incoherences in a fantasy drama don't bother me that much but I still appreciate the story more when it's well written. I'll try to explain better my reasoning.
1st possibility : Time-travel. Yi Gon went back twice to the day his father was killed. Let's call A1 himself from the first trip and A2 himself from the second trip. So the second time around, A1 should be there as well. Because it would be understandable to have two memories then. But A1 wasn't there.
2nd possibility : Parallel worlds (the most coherent explanation to me) On the first trip A1 got back to his own world. But A2, on the second trip, actually went back to B world, another himself who would never receive the badge. Hence B would not go to the Republic of Corea and wouldn't remember anything. In other words, A2 world actually didn't change at all. Still, Li Lim would have been killed in the inbetween worlds because he is from A2 reality. So the drama would be coherent to this point because A2 remembers, even if C doesn't. But what's incoherent is that his bodyguard remembers the other world too but the bodyguard from the Republic doesn't... unless it's yet another world.
