I'm on ep.10, it's ok, I'm interested, but expected more based on all these reviews)
Reading your comment, it reminded me of a comment I made when I first watched it. I went and looked for it: "it took me quite a few episodes to trully enjoy it. When I started it, I rated it only 6/10 but when I was at the 20th episode, it was already among my favorites dramas. Some people loved it right from the start because of the bromance and the great costumes." Not me. But around ep 11, I probably rated it around 7 or 8, meaning just enough to keep watching for fun. You stopped it just when the story was finally getting more complicated. I strongly recommend you to keep watching a few more episodes.
Please, stop asking for a season 2. This ending was the one intended from the start. From what I remember, rumors said the screeenwriter nearly gave in to the public and was about to do it. BUT she got a contract from Netflix for Kingdom and is now working on some other dramas. It's been five years already so let's be realistic, it's too late for a season 2 to ever come to light. Sure, it's not the best ending ever, but in a time-travel drama, this ending was to be expected.
Very fun to watch if you think of it as a parody. I wrote a review to explain that better. Please do read it if you want to know if you should watch it or not.
To be honest, at first I wasn't sure I would like drama that was full of action, but it turned out that I really…
Your comment triggered my interest to watch this drama so thank you! I actually think there are many romantic scenes. They are not obvious and it's a slow development but I found it charming. I have watched other historical lakorns and they didn't even touch each others hands so this one is full of skinship compared to them ^^
Great drama about the fall of Ayutthaya. As others said below, they explain some military plots and you'll have a rough understanding of how history happened. The story of the drama itself is interesting with some action scenes. As for romance, if you like hidden identity dramas and, I dare say gender-benders (although it's not exactly one), you'll love it.
You are absolutely right on that! A lot of the episodes brings laughter to my day! After awhile, you become attached…
I did too ^^ He met his girlfriend on Running Man and you could really tell they were enjoying each others presence. They were really cute together. But that's for later, just have fun with the current episodes ;)
Have a fun journey. I did the same last year to catch up and I have to say Running Man is always surprising. Some episodes, some seasons, are better than others but you just enjoy it anyway because you get attached to the members personality. Also, RM is perfect for when you have a bad day and need to cheer up ^^
I really like the Made Show, aka ep1 to 63. I finally got to the "Big Picture" but I think it's far less interesting, unless you're a fan of Lee Kwang Soo. So to me, the first part is a solid 9/10 while the rest is more like 6/10.
Ouch, starting from one of the best episodes is sad, you must have had very high expectations for the others. The very first episode of Running man was also very funny in its own way, especially the introductions. (Yes, I am french ^^)
Yes, I watched it again today and wow! A full hour of laughing out loud ^^ They also had to tear nametags off with their teeth! I don't remember another episode with that. I guess it must have shocked some viewers so they didn't renew it. Too bad, that was very funny as well.
I watched V.I.P. as well and it killed me. I didn't like it one bit. The things that happened ughh they give me…
I agree, I had to stop before the story had even begun. Society is violent enough as it is. As much as I like him as an actor and wanted him to play a villain for once, I didn't imagine it would be this kind of a villain...
10. But I tried watching V.I.P. because of LJS and I couldn't stand the violence. So if it's the same director, I'm not sur I can watch this movie. I'll probably wait for another one ToT
(Yes, I am french ^^)
