Are all commenters here 12 or what? Sex is a part of our life. Why is everyone so surprised.
Lol I totally get what you mean with blury knifes ^^ Although this won't actually change my opinion on some scenes of this drama, I appreciate that you provide your arguments. It is always interesting to understand another point of view. The scenes I was referring to: (see below under spoiler tag)

Not at all. I'm probably older than you actually. I just don't fell the need to show every thing on screen. That's something I appreciate in asian dramas and find quite peaceful. I once studied journalism and I remember one of my teachers saying this: "the secret recipe of producers to get plenty of viewers is blood and sex." Now, when I see unnecessary violence and nudity, I think about this sentence and fell kind of offended by those producers. I'm used to it in american series but not in asian dramas. Of course, that's just my thinking. That's why I wrote "my cup of tea", you're free to think otherwise. But please, do respect others point of view.

No but they allowed the automatic translation so if someone just do the subs in the original language, then maybe we'll get a translation. Let's have some hope.
My rating : 6 (7-1). I binge watched it while fastforwarding it from time to time. To be honest I appreciated more than I though I would. The -1 is for all the unecessary violence and nudity (Netflix touch) and, again to be honest, I knew from the start I'd do that.
So why did I even start something that wasn't my cup of tea? Well, three reasons.
1) As I was watching Running Man ep475, I found myself not understanding most of their jokes and it bothered me. I stopped the episode and later started Squid Game.
2) A reporter from my country made a reference to Squid Game out of nowhere. Apart from some Kpop and animes, it never happened before. Seriously, I don't remember even one asian drama being broadcasted here. Maybe on a specialised paying TV channel... So I though if someone asked me about Squid Game, as a drama fan, I had to know what this was about.
3) Later on the news, they talked about how primary school students played games from this drama. It was worrysome because this meant some parents let their 9 years old children watch something they should never see before at least 16. As a primary school teacher, I have to know what are those games to detect such situations. NB : Do not let your children in front of TV without monitoring what they're watching!
Honestly, I am only here to support Zheng Ye Cheng. My boy just simply… Can’t get his hands on a good scripts😩.As…
I think the FL is great in here. I do think the role was intended for someone younger though, but screenwriters could have made some adjustments. It was not that much of a change. The cosplay could have been something else for instance. As for being a newbie, if she choose this job late, it's not that problematic. As far as I'm concerned, Lin Peng nailed her character perfectly.
I don't think it's available anywhere anymore, unfortunately. I probably watched it on DramaGo years ago but the site has been down for some years :/ I tried to look forit again but I couldn't find either the download or the streaming version.

I loved the way the ML made his marriage proposal. I suppose most people want something full of decorations but I thought this way was the most sincere and in a way the most beautiful.

WARNING: Subs are only complete in french. In english, you can only watch up until episode 26, as said bellow in the comments. You won't see the end of the main story, but the cases in this first half of the drama are interesting. You can stop watching when the case with the man running with a knife on the road appears, this story ends after episode 27.
Sidenote opinion about the main couple (contains spoiler, that's why it's in the hidden comment bellow):
Finally completed it! Back when I first watched it in 2008, I had this strange symptom of stopping two episodes before the ending so that I wouldn't be disappointed by it. After rewatching it, I'd say this drama quality is uneven. I would rate some parts 6/10 and some others 9/10. Overall, I settled for an 8/10 because except for the parts with the female lead, I loved it. Don't watch this drama for the romance and you'll enjoy it.
I really like LKS but I think it's for the best, and not just because of his injury. When Yang Se Chan and Jeon So Min joined, it brought some fresh air to the show. But Jeon So Min's character is very similar to his and LKS said from the start that he wanted to be an actor more than an humorist. To do that, at some point, he was bound to leave Running Man. Plus, from the articles I read, his character is very different from his actual personnality. Imagine how difficult it might be sometimes for him to convince people that he's not the same in real life. I suppose the producer will either replace him after some episodes or, what I'm afraid of, they might just end the show in a few weeks if many people won't watch it anymore. I hope spectators will still give it a chance and a new character will bring it back to life.
