For the school as a prison : In a way, she can't escape the place because her parents sacrificied a lot of money to get her inside. So, as soon as she enters the place, it's a prison for the day. From what I remember, more emphasis was put on this in the older version. Maybe that's why I see it that way more than you.
Also, at first, she only has one friend at school who doesn't help her when the game starts so she's pretty much alone. Although she doesn't fall for Thyme's skewed values, she tries to understand him and pinpoints the reason of his reactions. Actually, when Kaning's boyfriend talk ill about her and Thyme, she does have the same reaction than Thyme. She kicks him right away, defending Thyme's honor. This shows that she does share at least some of his values. Well, it's necessary if they're going to fall in love after all.
I'm now at episode 7. I can see he already changed quite a bit.
If we consider the school as her prison, then this depicts exactly the first few episodes. The only difference is the change in the ML's character towards her.

You can't say I watch it "quite shallowly" just because you don't like my opinion. It simply is different from yours. I'm not saying there isn't any depht and development to the characters. If not, I would have dropped it already. It simply striked me how different I feel now toward the same situation compared to how I felt back in 2005, where I found the development of her sentiments quite natural, unlike now.
For the original version, I remember reading a comment saying the FL had the Stockholm syndrom. It didn't strike me then, but now I can say I wholeheartedly agree. I tried imagining myself in this situation and there's no way I would ever forgive something like that. Even if the second time wasn't his doing, if he had abolished this stupid bullying game once and for all, nothing would have happened. (Currently on ep. 5. )
The latest episode is so funny. Their guest Woo Jae is really cute and funny! I love him xD He should be a guest…
In ep.591 preview, they talk about a "new member" and Joo Woo Jae appears. I truly hope it's not just about the game in the episode and he's actually becoming a member of Running Man. As a guest, he brought a little something that made episodes 588 and 589 stand out.
So I found a loophole in this time loop drama and, depending on the explanation you can provide (or not), this…
In the last loop, how did she get the photo of the pervert in such a short time? The witness wasn't exactly willing to give it away in the previous loop.
So I found a loophole in this time loop drama and, depending on the explanation you can provide (or not), this will affect my rating. (see comment bellow under spoiler tag) PS: Great drama anyways. This will either be a 9 or 10 for me.

It's around 10'45 in the last episode if someone else need it ^^
So it's decided, this is my long awaited drama rated 10/10! (The last time was in 2016 btw.)
PS: Great drama anyways. This will either be a 9 or 10 for me.
