As a drama about amnesia, this one was refreshing because ML didn't just loose his memories. He believed he was someone else and this added some new ideas to this trope.
Should i start watching it? I kinda dont like the dramas when male is the first one liking the female
Hard to say so I'll explain a bit and you'll have to make your choice. At first, he is her fan but doesn't know who she really is, since they met inside a video game. SPOILER FOLLOWING. They kinda fall for each other without having seen each other, it's just that he recognises her first and chases her.
9/10 - I can't give it a 10 because I really didn't feel invested in the secondary couple storyline but what a sensual drama! Romance-wise, I wish there were more dramas like this one.
ep.1 : I heard some french from a french actor AND Lee Dong Wook actually answering in french! Well, I didn't understand some parts but it was way better than what I could hear in some other dramas.
Is it just my county or people really aren't that extra about the weather😕. Forecasts are just predictions…
It might not be the majority, but quite a few people actually do enjoy complaining over the smallest things and do not hesitate to bother you about it. So yes, I actually believe they do receive those kind of phone calls.
I'm hesitant to watch it because of the terminal illness plot. So I'd like to ask what's her illness? Does she trully have it? (Answer with spoiler tag please.)
Just because of discrimination you can't say the character's gray. For me gray would be a character who because…
Don't get me wrong, I never said she was a good person. Extremists have this in common that they do things the wrong way. Their objective can be seen as 'just' but the way they choose is wrong.

"she never gave preferential treatment to her son" Yes, that's why I think she's an extremist. I don't think she simply wants to advance her career. I think she feels like she's on a mission to do something greater. And to manage what she planned, she needs power, power that she can loose if her son is involved in a scandal. That's why she hides his misdeeds but still punishes him harshly. The no preferential treatment is because in her mind he has to reap what he sow but also because, if the scandal does blow out, her son is less important to her than what she has to do. As for Do Bae Man, she looks down on him. To her, he's just corrupted by money. But seeing he is competent, she still plans to use him as a tool.

That's tricky because it's all about the character's motivation. In a way, she punished her criminal son in a way that she knew would be far worse for him than what justice could have done. The first time, since he nearly killed someone, she gave him a taste of what fearing for his life was like with the grenade. The second time, since he raped a girl and filmed it too, she made him loose face in front of everyone and serve his two years in army, probably knowing what it would be like. That's probably the actual reason why she had so many soldiers come at this trial. I believe she is actually determined to do a good deed for her country by dirtying her hands and that's why she commited murder. As the saying goes: "Hell is paved with good intentions". Basically, she's an extremist. She is ready to do everything for what she thinks is right and that's exactly why she's so dangerous.
I fastforwarded A LOT. It wasn't that bad but some episodes subtitles were so bad that it felt like I was watching it raw. And I mean it, at some point, a character speaks in english but the subs are made from the chinese subtitles I guess, and it wasn't the same at all.
Given the comments here, I didn't think the ML was such a jerk, apart from the first 3-4 episodes where he asked the FL to apologize. What bothered me is that he kept looking above people heads instead of in their eyes. This felt weird but disappeared quickly fortunately.
I was actually more interested in the FL best friend lovelife than the main couple's. I guess it was meant to be a life lesson to some viewers: don't be too indecisive or you'll regret it forever.
It's probably the first time I fully read an ultra-fan guide. I really like Lee Jong Suk but I'm no good at recognizing people, except LJS of course ^^ And so, I can't participate in the game because I don't know about half of his co-stars ðŸ˜
FINALLY ! After 6 years (maybe more actually), I finally completed this drama. At the time, I nearly never completed dramas I liked for fear of the ending. So I put it on hold and then eventually dropped it. This year, I picked it up again and although I like it a little less than before, I'd say it's still a pretty good drama. 8/10 for me.
LOL I guess that's the advantage of time-loop dramas: you can re-use what you filmed multiple times and since the setting is always the same you can film most of the drama at once.
It felt like watching an anime with a theme I long yearned for: a romance between a cop and a criminal in a modern setting. I'll now watch season 2 ^^ (my rating btw: 9/10)
