The role she was playing was not disclosed by the production, but the crew had to redo all her scenes because of her sudden death.

First of all, thank you for the detailed explanation. FL's mother was one of the main reasons why I was contemplating whether I should finish it or not, 'cause even when I watched the first 13 eps, she was getting on my nerves; like A LOT. But hearing that the main couple has a very good relationship and the mystery element plays an important role in the storyline, I will definitely binge-watch this. (Will skip mother's scenes though; the skip button is there for a reason, lol)

BTW, just wanna ask you one small thing: as far as I've watched, they've portrayed Tae Min as kind of "evil," so is he really an evil character, or were they fooling us? (I don't mind a minor spoiler ^^)
