I dont say this lightly but I have been READYYY for this drama since day one like everything released so far has looked incredible and now that it’s finally airing in a few hours, I’m equal parts excited, nervous, and vibrating with anticipation.
Man this was on my PTW list, but now I don’t even know anymore because of Stephanie Soo’s video. One of my main reasons for watching was Yiran being in it, but now that I know he’s at the center of this whole mess, I’m a little hesitant. Does Zhudan get a lot of screen time? Is it really that unbearable?
No one told me there would be two people getting eliminated!? I was honestly only prepared for one, based on the speculation on X about who it might be. Damn, but two at a time is insane.

I feel like the story pacing is a bit rushed. Not that the drama itself is bad or hurried, but compared to the webtoon, it definitely moves faster. It makes sense though, since it's only 8 eps with around 30 mins each, so I’m not complaining, just sharing what I noticed.
Also, the toxicity in the webtoon is wayyy higher. Honestly, I’m relieved they toned it down for the drama.
