When they parked the car in the hospital it was clearly a man driving lol! Not huazi
I was laughing when I saw that ššš. I had to rewind to make sure I wasnāt seeing things. Iām surprised they didnāt catch that during editing because it was painfully obvious.
Finally all caught up. The actress who plays the Princess Royal is incredible. Why is she listed as a guest role on mdl when she should be main role or even support? Sheās a terrible person in the drama but her acting is so amazing I canāt look away. Preview of episode 38 had me gasping! Canāt wait for all the episodes to drop.
Wow!!! Crying tears of joy in episode 32. What a beautiful scene to end the drama with. Amazing acting by both leads. Wen YiFanās conversation with her mother was so excellent in episode 30. Iām glad she told her mom exactly how she feels and cut her out of her life. That woman is the worst mother ever! She got a just ending, living with regret for the rest of her miserable life. 10/10 drama. While I enjoyed it, itās sad to come back to reality knowing thereās far too many Wen YiFans and not enough or hardly any Sang Yans loving, protecting and building them up everyday š.
Spitting facts. The comments in here complaining about how the drama has deviated the novell has me offended,…
Yep very disappointed reading some of the comments. I get it, Sang Yan is great but my goodness Wen YiFanās been through hell and her actions are justifiable
Todayās episodes were very hard to watch. FL goes through so much with no one protecting her. Her āmotherā is one of the worst moms Iāve had the displeasure of watching in a cdrama. I hope the writers donāt have the FL and the mom peacefully reconciling because she doesnāt deserve to be in Wen YiFanās life. Thereās also a special place in hell reserved for Flās Aunt and Uncle (the abuser) for all they put her through. After balling my eyes out most of episode 25, I was happy with the little beat down Sang Yan delivered to that evil uncle.
While I understand manyās frustration on Wen YiFanās decision to leave Sang Yan (again!!!), I believe we need to give her room to deal with the situation however she feels. ML understands her reasoning and we should too. Is it stupid to up and leave instead of involving the police or telling Sang Yan? Yes it is. But sheās a victim who has been through something quite traumatic and she deserves sympathy instead of blame from the audience. Fingers crossed for the next episodes, looks like things will be back on track soon.
Wow episode 20 was perfection!!!! Iām smiling so hard. That conversation at the end had me tearing up. What a man Sang Yan is. Heās perfect for Wen Yifan, especially after all sheās been through.
One of the most satisfying wuxia drama endings Iāve ever seen. So happy š. All the couple had a HE. Iām glad Su Yu was able to redeem himself at the end cos heās inherently good. I feel that MRW didnāt get punished enough⦠like she is one of the worst sister Iāve seen in a drama. My goodness, I wanted her gone throughout the drama
it's open ending so believe what makes you feel best. From the videos I saw they were glowing and then disappeared…
Yh the video with them glowing made me think they died. Yh you right his hand was whole in the video. But like you said I choose to believe they eloped and are living somewhere peacefully lol.
I donāt know how to feel about the ending. In a way Iām glad they didnāt keep the ending of the novel but at the same time Iām left with questions and no definitive answers. Did the 2 leads elope and go live a happy life somewhere or did they both commit suicide together? Iād like to think the former. Solid performance by both leads despite shortcomings from the writing. 8/10 for me, will not rewatch for my own sanity and cos my heart canāt take it. Episode 33/34 was nice, 35/36 broke my heart and 37/38 ripped my heart into pieces. Poor Benjamin š, wish he lived as he was such a good guy.
Ep. 26 calmed me down a bit from my anger over 25. I could just kiss Song Ranās mom for asking her ādid you ask him?ā And also explaining to her why Li Zan would have withheld such information from her. Come on people, communicate!! Ranran finding out about Zoro š also put AāZan actions into perspective.
Lack of communication is ruining this show for me. Just watched episode 25 and Iām pissed. Why? Why? why? All these misunderstandings/miscommunications are driving me nuts. I understand why Song Ran is upset but Iām not sure why sheās this upset. Was she not planning to return to East Country herself but was waiting for Li Zan to get better? The man postponed going because he wanted to make sure she wasnāt alone dealing with her momās illness. Heās been there for her with everything sheās going through (at least what he knows about) and the one time he does something to upset her she turns her back on him. That text to him about not contacting her again was uncalled for. If these two actually spoke to each other truthfully instead of lying all the time something like this could have easily been avoided. Li Zan deleting his text to her when he saw how distraught the girlfriend of the deceased deminer specialist was harrowing. If this show has a happy ending Iāll be shocked.
I just wish Li Zan and Song Ran would stop lying to each other. I know itās easier said than done but Li Zan keeps all his emotions to himself to prevent negatively affecting Song Ran. But bottling everything inside is not helping him and in the end will cause more problems for himself and also Song Ran.
Thereās so many sad events happening in this show, like when it rains it literally pours. Our main leads are really going through it with no good end in sight. As always Iām hopeful for a good ending, but at this point itās wishful thinking on my part.
Iām so glad Li Zan and Song Ran were finally truthful to each about what they are going through. It hurt to see them both hurting but lying to each other about it.
