😂😂😂😅 I can’t stop laughing over the excel spreadsheet. CGH has gone completely bonkers!! It’s even more scary when NR is the one trying to talk sense into him. Thought NR may not be too bad until he said that nonsense about only elder brother to NH. Like you asking him to take the fall for something so heinous but you don’t even acknowledge him as a brother?

LXY is such a good actor and I’m praying to the universe he gets more recognition and better scripts because the man deserves it. I’m tryna catch up on this drama, not sure who was cutting onions in episode 19 😢 but I shed a tear with SZY.

NR, CGH, and the Emperor need to be gone already. They so annoying, especially stupid NR and his stupid and cruel father. SYM made NH cry again 😡, omg the fl can be brutal at times. He endured 60 lashes and didn’t shed a tear but angry words from the girl he loves has this man breaking 🥺😭. LYN is an amazing actor.

I love this drama…funny with the right amount of angst. Poor NH, his crying made me so sad. While I neither hate nor love SYM, I’m a bit disappointed. Although her behavior can be justified by what she knows about the original script, I’m disappointed it’s taking her so long to realize certain things. Like it took SYT about 2 episodes to understand what’s going on but fl has had 24 episodes and still can’t figure it out. Glad the director wrote a message for the viewers to explain fl’s perspective but doing so defeats the purpose of storytelling. What’s the purpose of telling us when you should be showing us? SYM should be showing more evidence of character growth by now but that has sadly not been the case.

I’m so frustrated by SYT, like she’s definitely smarter than the fl but she just drugged a man and now caused a big misunderstanding. I was all smiles in episode 21 now I’m mad in 22. Smh, SYM is taking forever to get a clear picture of what’s actually going on. Home girl is blinded by preconceived notions she has of NH from briefly skimming through the script. Someone needs to put some sense into her asap.

Poor NH 🥺. This man needs a hug real bad. Last scene in episode 18 was so sad 😭. I hope SYM will quickly realize how good he is and stop being a NH hater.

This drama is soooooo funny. Nonstop laughter. That scene of a eunuch, a prince, a maid (😂😂😂😅) and a guard hiding made me lol. My ribs hurt thinking about it. Only thing I dislike is the emperor, he is the absolute worst ever.

Wow what a rollercoaster of emotions I experienced in this drama. I give it a 10/10 but I won’t rewatch because my heart can’t take it. The acting was superb, I wish someone could hand the actress who played fl mom an Oscar. I hated her in the beginning but towards the end I was glad she found peace. Episode 20 was gut wrenching but I’m glad they broke with that horrible family. Yayyy for a happy ending :)

A heavy drama but I’m happy watching . It’s a great drama with amazing actors that may get overlooked because of its sadness. Episodes 16 &17 were amazing, I weirdly cried at how good the teacher is as I think about some of the amazing teachers I’ve encountered in my life. Can’t wait for the next episodes.

The acting is so amazing in this drama. Zhang Jingyi’s acting is great but my favorite is the actress playing the mom. I despise the character but at the same time i find her to be quite pitiful. She’s acting so well I’m hating her in one scene and feeling a little sorry for her in another. She wants to protect QQY but goes about it all crazy and wrong because she has no support in the Qiao family. Her husband makes me so bad, like say and do something useful please!

I can never forget that lady. Lol she was the mother I hated most until I watched the first frost (the fl’s mom turned a blind eye to her daughter’s abuse, that’s too much for me). Go Ahead ML’s mom is second for me.

Yh the attacks are uncalled for. Wetv did not really promote this like it was going to be a heavy drama (I would have still watched it regardless but maybe be more prepared for the emotional rollercoaster). Some people being disappointed is to be expected.

This drama is heavy. Not sure why I thought this drama was going to be sunshine and roses when the synopsis says otherwise (but the trailers were misleading I think). Fl’s mother will go in my books as one of the worst/annoying cdrama mothers (the first frost fl’s mother takes the cake). She's burdened with guilt. Guilt, for not speaking up to her husband and mother-in-law when her child was taken to live elsewhere, and guilt for failing to ever be a mother to QBY, especially when she needed her the most.

Funny she wonders how her child could ever turn out the way she did and bring embarrassment to the family. Father and mother never showed their daughter any iota of love and act shocked when she seeks it elsewhere (how does a kid ran away, come to you for help, and you send her back to the place she ran from? Like make it make sense!!). They failed their daughter woefully. Thank God FL has a back bone now and will try to get justice for her sister. Poor QBY.

Prior to episode 27 I wanted Long Yuan to seriously meet an untimely and cruel death cos he was soooooooooo annoying (very loyal though). But his reaction to child like BJS is hilarious 😂😂😂. Seeing his role model in such light is punishment enough 😂😂😅. The look on his face 😂

Wow… I’m all caught up and glad I didn’t give up on this drama because the beginning had me all confused and stressed out. Episodes 23/24 had me crying, HRY’s back to back loss was so gut wrenching 😭. Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng acted so well in those episodes. Fingers crossed for a HE but to be honest I will be accepting of a sad ending too due to all the misunderstanding and heartache between our main leads.

I’m so happy I’m all caught up now! So many suspicious characters, some scenes have me at the edge of my seat. I love the ml and fl interactions/relationship but glad it’s not the focus of the story cos the plot is so interesting.

Confused about the rating drop but I guess to each their own. The drama in my opinion is really good. These 2 episodes were a bit sad to watch. Huazi is suffering in silence, Xing chi’s heart is in the right place but he’s going about a lot of things the wrong way, Wang He is so focused on success that he’s lost a bit of himself, and poor Hai Kuo, that sit down with his ?ex was so sad 😭. Anyways I hope the last 10 episodes can give everyone a happy ending🤞

I was laughing when I saw that 😂😂😂. I had to rewind to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. I’m surprised they didn’t catch that during editing because it was painfully obvious.
