Wow started off with a bang! hope it keeps the momentum going. FYX is so badass!! Love to see it. Princess Feng is stinking cute but sooo naive with the “I can change him” line. I think I have PTSD from The Princess Royal cos I got pissed seeing Chen He Yi lol. I hope his character here is not as crazy…

Fang Lei is super annoying, that slap in episode 15 should have come sooner. Xu Yan should have put more power into it too 😂😂. SHM is also annoying and XY should have slapped him too 😒. Also XY is right, with all the monitoring SHM does on XY, he should work as a spy not a business man.

Episode 14 so hard to watch. The anger I’m feeling towards ML is shocking to me cos our FL is no saint. Both she and ML lied to each other and it’s understandable that ML will feel her love for him is fake. It’s just the way he says certain things to FL and how he’s so blasé about it makes me annoyed every time. Good acting from both of them, wish she would run away from him and never look back lol.

Yh you bring up a valid point. There’s still 22 episodes to go so I guess I’ll be optimistic and reserve my judgement until ML gets more fleshed out.

This drama makes me stressed when I think about how Xu Yan is going to deal with the aftermath of all her lies falling apart. I don’t want to see her hurt but she needs a wake up call, badly. I’ve never supported such a scheming FL before but I want her to come up on top. I’m on the fence about Shen Hao Ming, I mean he’s is scheming/deceitful just like the FL but worse. I like William Chan but I don’t know how the show is going to redeem this ML. Preview of Episode 14 does ML no favors, he’s just straight up creepy and mean.

Episode 4 so heart wrenching watching Xu Yan cry wanting love from her dad only to get slapped 😭😭😭. But WTH is up with the rating? There should be a thing where people can’t vote till like 10 episodes in cos why??!!!

I know the Ming Envoy was annoying but he and the king's reaction to the food had me dying these last few episodes. Now i await the angst...

Beautiful drama, lovely ending (thank God! it was touchy for a minute lol). This drama kept getting better, glad to see rating went up. Onwards to the next…

I’m trying to catch up but had to stop watching to decry the injustice in episode 22 😭😭😭. Why her???? She was my favorite character in the drama.

You’re spot on! To piggyback off the concealment of the fake emperor, it felt weird finding out the reason why both prince jin and shen wan’s father died was because of emperor’s paranoia. Both men tried to conceal the emperor’s crime in order to keep peace for the public because they believed he was a “wise ruler” only to lose their lives at the hand of the very person they tried to protect. SMH.

Wow…this drama was 🤩. I’m happy with the ending although I feel some parts were a bit rushed but still 10/10 for me. This drama really showcased how human greed and vanity can have such a negative impact. Many times as I watched the show I kept thinking how sad it was that some people with talent allowed greed or misplaced anger to consume them and in the end led them astray. My favorite line was what the capital city prefect said to Li Mu Yun, “I may not be as good an official as you, but as a person, you’re beneath me.”

The second couple are so chaotic together, I love them and hope they get a happy ending….lol that butt slap 😂😂😂. I’m anxiously waiting for next episodes to drop, previews got me 😬.
