A cute, sweet and funny love story. The “system” was the biggest opp throughout the series and caused unnecessary angst.

Wish that ex could have been slapped a tad bit harder with his gaslighting self. Hope this is the last we’ll be seeing of him 😬

This has to be one of my favorite cdrama FLs ever. Hu Xiu is so smart, stays level headed even in the face of adversity, trusts ML wholeheartedly, asks questions that need to be asked and importantly gives people time to answer her question without abruptly storming off (one of my biggest pet peeves and the cause of so many misunderstandings in cdramas, like damn give people a chance to explain before walking off but lol I digress).I was never anxious about her finding out about MLs secret cause she has such a great personality and is emotionally sound. I’m so thankful to the writers/producer of this drama for such a well rounded FL. 3 more episodes to go but alas work awaits 😂. A side note, PZ seems to be going out sad, I hope he makes a 180 these last 3 episodes I have yet to watch but I have low expectations. FL couldn’t have been more obvious that she had no romantic feelings for PZ but I guess that damn bandaid really got him 😂😂😂.

We were so well fed episode 19!! I was smiling the whole time. Pei Senior seems like he will be a big problem, the man has no good qualities.

this is soooo good. I love the FL! She’s stronger than me, cos if someone turned their head turn to reject my kiss I think I would have died on the spot but FL took it well. Umm I’m starting to like Mr. Pei 😂. I just hope he doesn’t turn into someone like SML from Love is Sweet cos that’ll be disappointing

Wow what a rollercoaster, sad it’s over. I know some are disappointed with the ending but I think it’s quite a fitting ending. TLC is such a selfless character and the choices he made were understandable. My only issue with this drama was the abrupt change in ZCJ’s character. Like it came out of nowhere and caught me by surprise. She kinda redeemed herself later but I was very disappointed since I liked her character in the beginning.

What a shame. Drama started off strong but alas went off the rails. it’s a fox spirit matchmaker series so I’m not too mad about the ending (in fact I consider it an okay ending). I hope viewers are not fooled into expecting romance from the ML and FL due to the international title. The 2nd and 3rd couple romance was enough for me, watching Cheng Yi kick ass was enough for me but I will most definitely not be rewatching. 7.5/10 cos actors were great (even the crazy obsessed brother), fight scenes were amazing and cos at least one couple made it out okay (and a reunion of main leads? yayyy!!! 😭😭😭).

Is Master Wanyu actually blind? I’m not sure if I missed a translation with this crazy MangoTV subs but he has not been acting blind ever since he took off the blindfold.

That poor cat 😅Gui Mudan is crazy scary, can’t wait for him and TLC to finally fight it out. MangoTV subtitles never ceases to amaze me, Mr. Slyboots 😂😂😂 in reference to TLC makes me laugh every time.

ZCJ is such a strong character, I love how she stands for what’s right and doesn’t let any prejudices cloud her judgement (i.e. her defense of TLC against all members of her sect). Also the actress who plays Miss Hong has been killing it, she’s been captiviating in all her scenes.

Umm that kiss? Totally unneeded lol, I fast forwarded through the whole scene cos why? TLC must be keeping AShui around for some reason but she’s so suspicious. I feel like she’s going to betray TLC but I hope I’m wrong.
