Chi Yun is so lovable, his reaction to finding out how rich Tang Lici was is too real lol 😂. Fingerscrossed he survives cos I know killing a loved character is par for the course in cdrama land 😬. Also that Go scene was too beautiful, I was so enchanted.

I’m laughing every time Ming Xin is on screen and I’m not sure why I find him to be a comic relief. Could be because of how the actor acts but I can’t take this guy seriously 😂😂

I beg to differ. if Situ Ling can figure out that someone gave her the GMD without being told she should have as well. Also her not being able to figure out why she was able to see the Bo sisters when JBZ couldn’t was just dumb. Writers just made her look slow so they can reveal it in later episodes. I’ll agree that no one wants to think their parent isn’t their parent but there’s been too many other instances where her supposed intelligence is laughable.

I agree with you. I have questioned FLs intelligence multiple times throughout the drama. It’s one thing if she is supposed to be not the brightest but so many people call her intelligent that her lack thereof is obvious. I mean her “mom” even questioned her intelligence in today’s episode.

I get JBZ could be influenced by his desire for sincere love and doesn’t want her to love him cause he saved her but he already knows she genuinely loves him at this point. This drama is full of miscommunication leading to misunderstanding. I felt episode 26 was finally a breakthrough but as I was watching episodes 27/28 I kept thinking what in the actual hell is happening? Did I miss something? Why is Ming Yi still avoiding JBZ? How can a supposedly smart FL think what Situ Ling gave her is what healed her when it’s been established since forever that only GMD can help her heal her spiritual veins?!! Like Situ Ling knows what he gave her wasn’t what healed her but Ming Yi doesn’t and doesn’t question it at all? Also the obsessive behavior by Situ Ling has gotten out of hand!!! Force feeding that potion to Ming Yi?! Like is that supposed to be romantic? To show how much he cares for her?!!! I was so pissed seeing that I had to pause watching because WTH just happened? I had a little sympathy for him in the beginning but now I find myself 3x his scenes cos I just can’t. Like please take a hint, she’s not into you. Beautiful Fuyue is right in front of this man and still he decides I’ll rather chase the girl I can clearly tell doesn’t like me and is already married. He needs to be given less screen time. Bu Xiu was the highlight for these two episodes cos he straight up spitting facts. Also I get it they wanna show JBZ is such a green flag, giving and not expecting anything back but give me a break! Just communicate damn it! What’s so wrong in telling Ming Yi that he gave her the GMD? He could have handed it to her and said “I love you and don’t want you to die, here’s the GMD now let’s work together to bring the people who poisoned you down” but no. He has to be selfless and I’m sure Ming Yi is gonna realize how much he sacrificed for her toward the end then she’ll be all remorseful when he’s dying and try to find a way to save him. SMH. On another note, YOUKU is on some power trip with this nonsensical schedule they got going on.

So her brother falls during a scuffle in episode 30, I think, and hits his head. After hitting his head he has periodic headaches. One of his “headaches” reminded him that his grandfather told him the story about their ancestors too when FL was not around. Turns out grandpa admitted to the brother that he lied to family about who their ancestor was because he wasn’t impressive enough lol. Censor Pei is their actual ancestor but grandpa changed it to Lin Yan cos he was more impressive/successful than Censor Pei. The whole thing was ridiculous but fits the crazy Shen family.

I enjoyed this drama for what it was, a nice slice of life drama, but 30 episodes to clear up a misunderstanding is very ridiculous. Their moment together as a couple was way too brief. And of course this won’t be a complete cdrama without the 30 sec meet up at the end in a hallway with the leads staring at each other and crying. I mean can we get a hug? She watched this guy go through life alone after losing her and all she does is smile at him at the end? Disappointed in how it ended but I don’t know if it could have been better. Was gonna rate 7.5 out of 10 but the actors were good so 8/10.

What a crazy ride…so sad it’s over but happy with the ending. Everyone got what they deserved. All the actors were fantastic. My only regret was the crazy emperor (Xia Jingyan). He was such a layered character and the actor (Qin Tian Yu) played the role to perfection

Mu Qibai needs to die a horrible death. Episode 14 was mostly disappointing cos the lies continue, what a headache. But on the bright side Ji Bozai hugging Mu Qibai was hilarious 😂

Yh valid point. The show has done a great job showing all the villains perspective and why they became the way they are. I think the last conversation he had with FSG about saving his son was his turning point. If FSG had given him the answer he wanted then all this would have been avoided. But his son I feel was unforgivable as he showed no remorse for what he did.

I knew it was bad when I was happy to see the princess but whew I needed to catch my breath from all the action. I can’t wait for sweet revenge from the leads. I hope Murong Senoir’s end is crazy brutal cos I’m angry I felt bad for this guy at one point.
