Am I the only one who's not feeling ANY chemistry between NS and Ryu Si Oh or what. He's the creepy psychotic…
I don't find any chemistry with Nam Soon and Shi Oh either. Nam Soon is very child-like and there's Shi Oh who tested Nam Soon's strength by trying to crush her body. Yes the Shi Oh was all smiley with her in the car, but that was it. He has to pretend to be friendly with her to keep her on his side. That is typical manipulative behavior of a psychopath.

If speaking about Shi Oh's chemistry with others, I find that Shi Oh has more chemistry too with the mother. If only Shi Oh would know about the mother's strength maybe he'll target her too. And if you want a redemption arc for the villain, it could be with the mother. But honestly, I want the mother and Nam Soon's father to get back together.

I am seeing so many romantic edits for the fl and the villain on insta and I am like wtf? The dude is as creepy…
I find this weird too. I get it if the people don't like the ML, but shipping the FL with the villain? I don't watch trailers that much so I'm just basing it on what I watch during the episode and find it really weird that people do this.

To those who are shipping NamSoon with Ryu Shi Oh, I want to know is it because of the edits you watch in Tiktok or twitter or the photo of them together during the last filming of the drama and thought he was the main lead and not the villain? or maybe you all are Byeon Woo Seok fans?

I just watched the show recently and can't understand why people are shipping Nam Soon with Shi Oh. Nam Soon doesn't have much romantic interactions yet with HeeShik since he is still in denial with his feelings but they have cute scenes together and you can see the potential for them to grow.

In my view, the scenes of NamSoon with Shi Oh are not romantic at all. Yes, Shi Oh looks good, but I don't like how he treated Nam Soon when he was testing her. Yes he smiles at Nam Soon but it's because he wants to manipulate her to be on his side and use her to help him bring harm to people. I would have understand if there wasn't that testing NamSoon's strength scene, but it literally was there.

Call me shallow but I am finding this show a nice break from the stress I get from watching My Dearest. I know…
Same!!! It's not the typical shows that I watch since I watch a lot of serious/dark/crime/psychological thriller shows. But I still find it entertaining.

There are a lot of things that I wish they could've done differently but I'm still here watching it and wanting to know how the show will develop.

I usually watch mystery/crime/thriller dramas in Netflix and this drama was recommended to me by Netflix because I watch crime investigation shows. It's way different to what I usually watch because it's comedy, but it was a pleasant break from the serious/dark shows I watch.

For you to enjoy this drama, you just have to accept the fact that it's fantasy and everything is unserious. So far, I enjoy it. Just watching it without thinking too much. I like the fact that the mother is like a woman version of Batman. I also like the slow progression of the main leads. You know that they are interested in each other but are not so clingy yet to each other. Excited to see more interactions of the leads.

Can anyone tell me whether I should watch it or the drama behind your touch?? because I am quite confused which…
Try watching both! I started watching Episode 1 of Behind Your Touch while waiting for the next episodes of this drama. The actor playing the father of the main female lead in Strong Girl Nam Soon is also in Behind Your Touch.

i only watched few episodes of the og, but already enjoying this one more ! i like the ml, he looks like a 'normal'…
Same!! And yes, the male lead is not your typical super handsome korean drama male lead, but he has his own charm and I still find him good looking enough.

I watched this without knowing that it'll be a comedy so I was kinda caught off guard during the comedic parts. It's not perfect, but I still enjoyed it. It's fun and light and not meant to be taken seriously. It did have some serious moments where it made me reflect and think about the things that I really want to do in life. Love the friendship of the leads too. It made me want to go on a trip with friends. :)

This is a fun cute romcom. I enjoyed it a lot. It's a very easy watch. I don't know both actors since I don't watch chinese movies/dramas that much, but their chemistry was good. They're both so lovely and acted well.

I love this drama. Kim Hye Soo might not be my favorite korean actress, but I'm always drawn to her works. She did great here. I cried in some parts of this drama because I related to it and learned a lot. I liked the overall message that this drama would like to impart. I hope that it could have been longer. Hoping for a season 2. Overall, it's a great drama.

Decided to watch this because of the reunion of Mario and Baifern since I loved Crazy Little Thing Called Love. It was okay. The concept was interesting but there's just something missing. It was a little too rushed so the concept and storyline were not executed well. I think it could have been better if it was longer or maybe made into a short drama. Still hoping that Mario and Baifern can meet again in a better project.

I liked Nine in FriendZone so decided to try this out. I watched this as a movie in Netflix. Didn't know that it was aired as a drama. It was okay, something easy to watch but can be draggy at times. The scenery was beautiful. I wished they could have written the plot better.

I super love this drama!!!! I'm a fan of mystery/ thriller drama and this did not disappoint. It might come off as a bit preachy at times but I eventually I find it okay since it is mainly about a teacher imparting a lesson to his students. I like the storyline and the plot twists. It could be a bit predictable if you've watched a lot of mystery/thriller/psychological dramas, but it still left me surprised at the plot twists and it kept me want to know what will happen next. It's not perfect but it has everything that I love in a good drama. I especially like the overall message of the drama which I think is really important in our time right now.

Masaki Suda did great as Mr. Hiiragi. I think I haven't watched any of his works yet but will definitely try to watch them because of his performance here.

To some it might have been better as a movie, but I think it's fine as a series. Most if not all of the students were highlighted and has a role and not just a random filler student who just happens to be there.

Overall, I really love it. :)

I don't usually watch melodrama romance movies, but I still gave this a try. The story line was nothing new, something I might have seen in a similar movie or drama but nonetheless, it was still a good movie. The acting of the two main leads were the highlight of the movie. It made you feel the emotions they've felt thus making you want to finish the movie and see what happens to them next.

This is a brilliant drama! :) I don't know why I only watch it this year. Definitely will be included in my favorite kdramas of all time. I especially love the friendship of the characters here. It makes me hope that my friends and I will be like that too until we grow up. I also love Park Wan. She was a very flawed character and some might be annoyed by her, but I really relate to her in some level. I just really love this drama!!

Side note: This is my first time watching Go Hyun Jung in a drama. Most of the time she had very minimal make-up if not no make-up at all. Still she was still very beautiful. Jo In Sung was very handsome here too.

It took me some time to watch this show. But I promised myself to watch this show before 2021 ends. The first episode was kinda slow and I didn't see where it was going. But then as the show progressed, I was really hooked. There is something unique in this show that I really liked. It might not be appealing to others, but it is my cup of tea.

Definitely will be included in my favorite kdramas of all time. :)

Title More Than Friends Spoiler
"I don't get it when people say LS is being toxic in a relationship just because he rejected the FL earlier."He's…
Now that I said my piece and you've read it. I just want to point out things. I mainly reacted to what you wrote, which I think gave a biased reaction towards Lee Soo. So I just replied to your comment to point out things that maybe some people who didn't watch the episode just assumed because of what you initially wrote.

I understand if people saw Lee Soo's behavior of insisting to be friends with Wooyeon when she didn't want it as toxic. I aslo wouldn't want for anyone to be forced into a relationship, romantic or even friendship, that they didn't want. So I guess we are clear about the toxic part caused by that behavior. You said that I might have misunderstood you, so I just want to ask certain things so that I can have a clearer picture of what you are trying to say.

"Then, when she's finally trying to get over her feelings for him and be with another man, he decides he likes her romantically and starts inserting himself in her life and new romantic relationship, COMPLETELY DISRESPECTING THE BOUNDARIES SHE HAD ESTABLISHED IN ORDER TO MOVE ON AND LEARN TO LOVE SOMEONE NEW."

Going back to your previous statement, I got triggered by what you wrote. Since you said you weren't referring to Lee Soo as a totality, I just hope you didn't use the word COMPLETELY. When you said that you were referring to a particular moment, may I ask which moment in particular?

Yes, he was a bit disrespectful when Wooyeon didn't want to be just a friend. But during the times Wooyeon said she doesn't want to be her friend, Lee Soo have not realized his feelings yet. So he was just intent on friendship, because there's nothing more he can offer than that.

In the quoted statement above, you specifically said that when she's finally trying to move on and try to love another man, "he DECIDES HE LIKES HER ROMANTICALLY, and STARTS INSERTING HIMSELF IN HER LIFE." He didn't just decide because there was another man. If you look into it closely. Wooyeon was giving him signs that she wants to hear from Lee Soo. If Wooyeon wanted to date Junsoo and doesn't care about Lee Soo, why bother say it to Lee Soo the line " I'll date Junsoo if nothing happens to her." At that point Lee Soo was just an annoying Jerk to her, so why bother explain? I just want to point out that in my point of view, Wooyeon was giving him a last chance to confess his feelings. So he just grabbed the opportunity that Wooyeon was giving him, which was what Wooyeon really intended since we all know she chose Lee Soo.

"I was saying that in the moment when she said, "No, I can't be your friend," he has since acted in opposition to what she requested, which was wholly/fully/completely ignoring her wishes. When someone says, "No," "Stop," or, "Leave me alone," those are finite words, and you cannot partially respect them. You either completely do or completely don't."

After Wooyeon finally dated Junsoo, I think he respected that Wooyeon chose Junsoo and didn't insist his feelings anymore. He realized that maybe he should leave her alone and be with Junsoo. Lee Soo even told her that he likes her with Junsoo. Lee Soo didn't even insist on friendship too evident on the part when he even reminded Wooyeon for them not to be together.

Did I miss something in the drama or was your statement something that I misunderstood again? That you were referring to just the before dating Junsoo part.

I guess the only problem I have with your statements is that you word it in such a way that other people will hate on Lee Soo and only see his negative traits and toxic behavior. It is true that you were just responding to why people see Lee Soo as "toxic", but the context you initially gave is as if Wooyeon did nothing wrong and that Lee Soo is a childish brat who doesn't care about others. It appears to me that some people only care about Wooyeon's feelings, but what about Lee Soo's? People should also consider the context of why Lee Soo acted that way, which in my opinion you worded it in such a way to just bring bad light to him.

Lee Soo is slowly learning how to socialize better, and if Wooyeon chooses Lee Soo, it doesn't necessarily mean it's because the writer will make Junsoo a creepy stalker to make Lee Soo better by default. For the record, it's always been in Junsoo's personality to be so persistent in the things that he wants to achieve. Example 1, when he went all the way in Jeju for the writer to finish the project. Example 2, when he keeps on asking Lee Soo to be their photographer even though he rejected the offer a lot of times before. So, no, he didn't just become a creepy stalker overnight. It was in his personality.

I think there's something more in Lee Soo that Wooyeon particularly likes and it's something that Junsoo doesn't have. It's not being a "creepy stalker" because if it was the case, then Wooyeon wouldn't have liked Lee Soo now, because as some of you thinks, Lee Soo always insist himself in Wooyeon's life. When Wooyeon broke up with Junsoo, she said that it has something to do with Junsoo always just taking things in. He doesn't share to Wooyeon his negative feelings and doesn't get mad at her. He always just adjust to what she prefers, and because of this, he starts to lose himself. Junsoo's whole identity will just be centered to adjust to Wooyeon. Whereas Lee Soo, from the start, he seems to be unapologetic for who he is and what he stands for. He doesn't bend to other people just to please them. He expresses his emotions clearly (mad, sad, jealous, etc.). But this doesn't mean that Lee Soo is outright forceful and never listens. Once he realized his wrong actions, he starts to change. His change is not perfect since he can still be childish at times, but if you only look at it closely, he's changing and learning.

Just to be clear, I like discussions like these, because I may not see something that other people saw and I want to understand other's perspective. I really wanted to understand what you are trying to point out.

I'm glad that you also liked it. This drama seems to be petty and cliche to others, but what I liked about the drama is that I'm learning from it. This drama made me realize a lot of things so, I guess it just came at a right time for me.
