Yes .. even min joon kook was wronged and had reasons..But Ahn do hoon was pure evil. Oh I remember that scene where the FL’s dress rips and she falls and the ML fights for her.. and he laughs (the pic of him above).. oh man... it still boils my blood.
I actually rewatched it a couple of weeks ago and came up with this article. First, he was number 1 but then I remembered Min joon koon.
When in the end, bae soo bin broke down and cried, I wanted to hit him in the nuts. You denied parole to her. Let the child and an innocent person be in prison and suddenly , your father emotions rise.. the prison was too easy a punishment for him.
That was really random and just so stupid. But I knew he was shady because of that opening.
It was not necessary. Plus it was extreme. You kill someone for liking someone else or become a psycopath because the ML did not appreciate his dead dad. That’s bullshit!
Really Da Jun !! I mean where did that come from? Who kills a girl just because she is dating some one else or she’s not what you thought she’d be! She was not cheating. She did not even know that you liked her. You didn’t even have the balls confess to her. Hate her. Speak ill of her. Who fucking kills somebody?? I would be a serial killer if I started killing every guy I liked and could not have.
As it is, the whole I-killed-the-girl-I-can’t-have story of the seemingly nice and cute sidekick was unconvincing, they had to throw in the father story. How in the world can you become a murderer while admiring a nice person who gave his life to save someone else. And over everything else, you hate Zhen Yu. I thought that okay, he killed the girl but he would not harm his best friend. But no! You make him the worst person. And Zhen Yu wasn’t really a bad person to Da Jun ever - like looking down on him or ordering him around. He trusted him blindly. So Da Jun’s character was a curve ball. There was no spine to his story.
Also, why did everyone hate Zhen Yu. He had a sharp tongue but he was a lawyer for god’s sake. Always telling him to think about others. He was thinking about others by proving them innocent by facts, and not emotions. Who mixes work with emotions. I don’t give nicknames to my lines of code or have a nervous breakdown when there is a bug. Work is work; you need to be professional.
After that, the Ji Rou character. Omg. Did she even love the husband? You have a relationship with your ugly step brother - I am okay. But you let him kiss you after marriage, see him murder your husband, boss you around - and you still protect him (and in alternate future, go to jail for him). Are you crazy, lady?? She was clearly an accomplice to murder as she misdirected the investigation and sheltered a criminal. But it’s all good - poor girl - she was strangled and now thinks she is 18. What the fuck!!
I would have rated it a 9, if not for this. I love the show and the story except these 3 points which didn’t make sense. Good thing that They casted good actors. But it was also a 26 ep long ad for enzymes and Subway.
I could not watch it the first time because it sort of put me in a real bad mood thinking about how unimaginably monstrous the world is.. but nonetheless a masterpiece.
You can check my watchlist, it is mostly romances. But if you want non frustrating romcoms I’d suggest Bromance, 20th century boy and girl, love o2o, boss and me, strong woman do bong soon, weighlifting fairy kim bok joo, sassy go go (a little about school politics but fun)
The SFL had such an annoying voice. I did not hate the show - storywise. It was drama cliches but not too bad .. but the ML and SFL’s acting ruined it for me.
