I tend to shy away from historical dramas as I don’t think I would be able to relate to it.. but I presume the fight for independence is the same everywhere .. and so is the feeling. I am surprised at how much i loved this drama and the music.. for the change, i could understand the lyrics. And it did not have the 14-15 episode syndrome.. it’s last few episodes were amazing

10 episodes down and I hate the family. Tae bum is a jerk and that girl is too good for him. He is the worst. Same with the mother and grandmother. Your son/husband lied to you. And you take it out on the poor girl. Tae hee and the father cannot take a stand. And the youngest is just annoying. Ja Eun and Soo yeong are the only redeeming factor. I just hope they don’t give in to the family’s bullshit.
