"invert" as a noun is a new word to me. thanks memoir of rati for teaching me old timey slurs, i guess? 😭

hmmm i wonder why germans are often portrayed as bad guys in period pieces taking place in the first half of the 20th century 🤔

Kinda tragic how this piece of media became what it sought to criticize originally.

it was... fine. the struggle over the cgi baby in the last few episodes was a bit ridiculous to watch though not going to lie. the detective's storyline... lemme not even get into that lol. i'm of the opinion that another two seasons of this show didn't need to exist - they didn't add anything new and it ended exactly the same as the first season - the cycle continues on and on as long as there's class disparity somewhere in this world. contrary to the popular opinion, i'm actually okay with that kind of ending, i didn't expect any of the "bad guys" to get their comeuppances because if i wanted that i'd go watch marvel or disney or something. i just didn't think it was worth it to prolong the show for two more seasons just to reiterate that.

Hold on, that dog CGI from episode 3 might actually be even worse 😭

I'm on episode 2 currently and i know they wanted the moment with the girlie giving birth to be emotional and touching but all I could think of was "god that baby CGI is rough. am I watching twilight"

god. how to be milk's gf. she's soooo fine

bossjued the only straight people i respect

rolled my eyes so hard when new appeared. it seems like gmmtv's go-to move now when an actor from a bl pair plays a character who doesn't get with anyone throughout the show and the other guy gets a cameo at the very end of a series. see also: force appeared at the end of only boo for book's character, sea appeared at the end of stgd for jimmy's character. fanservice is fanservicing and rpf fans are probably beside themselves from happiness but i just find it annoying lol

never understood why it's such a ragebait for sooo many people 😭 like of all things it's the one most likely to get ppl boycott a series or rate it poorly, regardless of how well the story is done. but it CAN be done well, like any other difficult topic

Whatever it is, it better be a damn good reason 😅 watch it be some noble idiocy thing a la "someone told tam he's in the way of phi's success so he decided to remove himself from phi's life without discussing it with phi first"

the production is a bit rough around the edges, but i can forgive them that. i guess all their historical drama budget went to the scarlet heart hahaha

i actually wish that were the case, because it would make a complicated and interesting story, but unfortunately i don't think they'll go there. your average bl viewer considers cheating subplots worse than murder and sexual assault and gmmtv knows it, so they'll never go there lest someone puts their damn building on fire lmao

oh sweet plum we're really in it now

damn the comments on this one... "who's the top", "this female character is annoying" really feels like I travelled back eight years lmao

HELL YEAH LET'S GO OAT

hello??????????????? currently picking my jaw off the floor

that's actually a good idea, i might try that
