two things: 1.) the scene between aioon and grandma in 1/4 and the scene of may waking up in the hospital in 3/4 were SO good. namtan and film the actresses that you are 2.) that cgi was fucking rough π
now you're just putting words in my mouth. never did i say that all queer people are perfect angels who do no wrong. what i AM saying is that gay sex isn't shameful and openly gay creators wanting to include it in their work is a normal thing to do. it's a part of our lives.
i asked you not to infantilize the actors and here you are doing exactly that. they are grown men in their twenties (i'm also older than them by the way) who are capable of deciding which series to act in. do you think that this evil perverted older gay director sneakily made them read a script with no sex scenes in it and then forced them to act it on camera? this isn't a porn studio. the actors know what they are getting into and can always choose more tame and safe projects if they are uncomfortable with filming something like this.
genuinely, gmmtv has its fair share of problems, but jojo making more mature themed series for a fellow queer audience isn't one of them, please stop clutching your pearls
I know novel this, novel that but here I'm having a hard time believing May is a red flag. She's so mf loyal and…
haven't read the novel but i think they changed a LOT lot. i know a total of one big spoiler from the novel (which does make may seem like a red flag), but i can already tell they scrapped it completely
P'Jojo set the bar pretty high with OF last year, exploring topics that were taboo in the BL industry and very…
i hope he continues in the same vein because i do find his works (well, the ones i've seen) to be the most interesting and refreshing in all of gmmtv, but also judging by his twitter interactions i feel like those fan criticisms get to him sometimes
damn someone on twitter really tried to come for jojo saying that he uses mature themes as an excuse to hypersexualize these actors. wow, a gay man making a series in which gay men are having sex! shocking!! scandalous!!! those poor overexploited actors who have no say in the matter!!!! jfc stick to your high school/uni unproblematic and sexless fluff and leave, will you
i've never seen dunk in anything (not counting bad buddy where he appeared for like five seconds total) but i've heard plenty about him being a so-so actor and i can see what people meant. out of the main four his line delivery is the least natural and smooth. maybe i'll get used to it as the show progresses tho
The ending is kinda rushed. You know what I meant. Where is Okgyeong? She should be there as she adores Jeongnyeon…
i feel like the last few episodes okgyeong was in made it pretty clear that she never really adored jeongnyeon, she saw her more like a cure for boredom. she wanted something new, some competition and she saw that in jeongnyeon. once jeongnyeon gave up, okgyeong felt like it's her cue to leave since the thrill was gone
it's a 10/10 for me. it made me laugh, it made me cry, it kept me at the edge of my seat. gorgeous women, gorgeous acting, gorgeous music and cinematography. it also gave me a bittersweet ending which is something i really love. easily one of my all time top 5 dramas. thank you, jeongnyeon <3
dropped this a while ago but decided to visit the comments to see if anyone knows which show is going to take the friday slot after this one and let me tell you. it is really funny how the comments went from "if you say anything bad about this show you're just a bitter ohmnanon stan!!!!!" to "hey this is kind of genuinely bad"
Ok I know that some y'all are finding similarities with last twilight, not me and who are you which is valid.…
funny cause i was thinking pimpang are more like sandray and the entire thing with pang crushing hard on her bestie while ignoring a gorgeous woman who loves her is like ray pathetically chasing after mew when he already has sand
