well. i lost some braincells in the process of watching this, but the drama /was/ lowkey juicy. after watching…
no i mean i do believe that gyoza and manaow are going to be endgame (because if not then what even was the point of All That), i just personally don't root for them and if gyoza HAD to end up with someone then i personally would love for it to be thida or pure
thought of dropping this, but weirdly enough your guys' comments about the recent episode being kind of fucked…
well. i lost some braincells in the process of watching this, but the drama /was/ lowkey juicy. after watching that preview i'm kinda rooting for gyoza and pure because she deserves someone who'd treat her well. so either him or thida
thought of dropping this, but weirdly enough your guys' comments about the recent episode being kind of fucked up made me want to catch up. better fucked up than boring
that said, I'm currently on episode 8 and this is really some next level miscommunication and leaping to conclusions. in this show one cannot even hug an inconsolable friend for fear that someone will immediately assume that you two have a secret affair going on. i love mess, but not when everyone involved is stupid as hell
OKAY GUYS! I NEED HELP!! So does anyone know the name of the song that plays at the start and end of each part.....for…
that's the song from the trailer that has yet to be released. everyone's been waiting for it - personally i clowned myself thinking that they would release it with today's episode, but it turned out to be another song. for how long are they going to keep edging us TT
i don't understand the copyright nuances enough to make a judgement about who's at fault - gmmtv or the japanese copyright holders or both, but i do feel really bad for everyone who worked on this show because they seemed very excited to release it to the audience - including the international one
also if only friends and now the last twilight are anything to go by, gmmtv is capable of creating their own original stories that are engaging and well-written (well, for the most part). i don't know why they are so hellbent on continuing to make remakes of already existing japanese shows (yes, yes, i know that cherry magic th is technically a manga adaptation and not a remake, but considering that everyone everywhere keeps comparing it to cherry magic jp, it might as well be considered a remake too)
"spoiled rich kid who would call out for others" bro was having a panic attack
damn, you're really hellbent on this, aren't you, haha. that's still not a character flaw, but a natural thing to do during a /panic attack/. he's not just throwing a hissy fit because something doesn't go his way. he literally can't think straight. have you never had a panic attack, that shit is intense and chalking it up to day being an insensitive (???) brat is a wild take, i'm sorry to say this. the guy is panic-stricken because he's suddenly losing his sight and your only reaction to that is "damn. kinda immature of him :/" like i just don't get it how you look at both of these situations and instead of having empathy for a character you decide that that's what makes him flawed and that he's somehow in the wrong for something he literally cannot control. i don't know if we should continue this discussion - your point of view makes me very frustrated with how compassionless it is and i don't want to get even more hostile in my replies!
"spoiled rich kid who would call out for others" bro was having a panic attack
okay but how is that a flaw? if you know that someone you trust is around why wouldn't you call out to them in a situation like that? literally what do you find to be bad about it?
what i find interesting about both of those cases is not the mere fact that he called for someone - that's a pretty natural thing to do i feel like. it's that both times he had august right beside him, and yet he wasn't the one day called out to. now /that's/ something juicy to think about (and, again, not a flaw)
"spoiled rich kid who would call out for others" bro was having a panic attack
no, i got from your initial comment that you like these characters. i'm just bewildered by the fact that you would assign him a flaw he hasn't been exhibiting really + i found it a bit insensitive when you called him a spoiled rich kid calling for someone when things get "chaotic" when it was obvious that he gets overwhelmed and scared in situations like that one
"spoiled rich kid who would call out for others" bro was having a panic attack
this reads to me as if you're accusing him of being a spoiled attention seeker when, i reiterate, in both of those cases he was having a serious panic attack. this literally has nothing to do with the "attitude" lmao
we don't know the backstory of him and night yet. aside from that unresolved conflict the two of them have, i literally cannot remember a single instance where he was behaving like a snooty rich kid which for some reason seems to be your impression of him
Honestly it would be so cliché and dumb. I actually hope Day finds his piece and accept his situation and not…
i know right? sure, aof's shows ARE dramatic sometimes (remember when pat got shot in bbs... that was wild), but to kill off one of the main characters in such a stupid and cliché way is not his way of doing things i feel like. i'm with you on this, i think ultimately this show is about accepting your condition and learning to live a fulfilling life with it
the amount of people being genuinely afraid that mhok dies and donates his cornea to day.... I'm getting only friends flashbacks where every week someone in the comment section was yelling OMG WHAT IF (insert character) DIES!! beloveds, this is NOT going to happen
can someone tell me the bgm music playing at the end of ep 4, when day was checking Mhok face 🫠
Days With You Never Fade - Trevor Kowalski (when Day was zooming in on the photo on his phone) and For the Love of You - Victor Lundberg (when he put the eyedrop in and looked at Mhok sleeping). I love both of these tracks
