okay so: Mew, Boston, Ray and Cheum are a group of friends. Mew meets Top and they become boyfriends. But Top…
sand having a crush on a girl was misinfo from incorrect translation. first drew an arrow from sand to cheum and the annotation was "wants to be friends" but someone mistranslated it as "wants to be lovers" and that got shared around. that being said, judging from the ep2 preview i'm guessing raysand IS still bi4bi relationship
Why does Korn say to Pat "If I hadn't made up a story, would you have left your boyfriend and come to see us?"…
"Boyfriend" is indeed suspicious, but I think he just said "your significant other" (isn't faen gender neutral in thai?), as in someone Pat is supposedly dating after "breaking up" with Pran. Like he probably did lie to them that he was dating other people
please tell me this is not a classic "two girls chasing after the same guy" type of series. please tell me they're in a throuple (although i'm guessing the answer is no they're not because if they were then this series would've been waaay more popular)
Dropped this on episode... four I think it was? But since it's their our skyy episodes next week I had a thought of giving this series a second chance, so I went here to check out comments and honestly they're giving me a whiplash with how half of them are cooing over how cute and sweet this series is and the other says that there's a r*pe subplot apparently?? What the hell.
Exceptionally good series not counting the last two episodes (which also had its nice bits but overall left me like ????). Firstly, the entire thing with the grandpa... I would understand an ending like this if he indeed were only accidentally involved with Mes's death, but helloooo he very much DID mean to murder him, it was literally a premeditated murder?? Could not care less how much of a cute harmless grandpa he is now, "forgive him and take care of him" was not a satisfying ending for me personally. I reiterate that they could've downplayed his role in Mes's death, made it less severe. Secondly... I keep seeing people reassure new watchers that this series has a happy ending but I genuinely fail to understand how it is happy. Mes is still dead, a ghost stuck as a perpetual 22-year-old who can't live a proper life. I think both he and Thun should've moved on. It would be bittersweet, of course, but not every story needs a happy ending where two characters stay together just for the sake of it because the audience demands it. Lastly, I found the entire "admit it, you had a thing for me when I was a kid" exchange was a bit weird point to end a series on.
That being said, I still really, really enjoyed this series: there's lighthearted, goofy humour, a wonderful group of friends, satisfying resolution to a love triangle type of situation (and surprisingly cute het), absolutely balls to the wall amazing coming out scene, beautiful soundtrack. Oh how I wish the last two episodes weren't... like that TT
