I wonder zls didn't go to acting school right? She finished fashion design or something? I know WL did in a prestigious school and haven't graduated yet
Just saw this on one site and thought should share about css mother character:
To a certain extent I feel that the mothers character is very well drawn. (Not that I agree with what she does). As a Soldier she is an authoritative but fair leader of both her family and her soldiers, her Husband is under her thumb and her sons have a lively fear of displeasing her, but all seem to have a great affection for her. So why does she fail when it comes to her daughter. She meets NN for the first time since her birth to find that her behaviour reflects the the two people she dislikes the most. NN is uneducated and does not follow the social etiquette just like her grandmother and is scheming and crafty like her second aunt. She immediately takes it on her self to rectify these flaws. So far so good, however she overlooks two main problems NN’s need for love and her stubbornness(inherited from her). Therefore not having shown her love, her efforts at discipline is met with stubbornness and instead of discipline it becomes a power fight. This is contrasted by the discipline of third aunt, who has a positive impact on NN and helps her to see why she should change. NN’s positive qualities are now diminished in the eyes of her mother. Not only does NN keep butting heads with her, but when defending herself NN often gets too near the mark and highlights the inconsistencies of her mothers judgements and behaviour, which makes her angry and defensive. Into the this mess comes YY, the epitome of what she wants NN to be, obedient, polite, meek with a good education. On top of this she is the daughter of the woman who treated NN badly, not only does she like her more than NN but she is also concerned that if YY is in anyway wronged it will look as though she is getting revenge and therefore overcompensates under the umbrella of fairness. During this whole process she has never reflected on her own actions, she merely sees how NN is not living up to her high expectations and will not meekly submit to her commands and directions. By the time she gets to the palace, these issues are firmly embedded into her consciousness and when looking for a way out for her daughter’s marriage this is what pours out. This is a complicated and destructive relationship due to, stubbornness, misunderstanding and lack of communication. For a drama, I feel she is a well develop and thought out character.
I'm not watching immortal samsara but I believe that it's Xianxia, so having a lot of CGI is so normal, it's completely…
Tencent cgi is better than youku. Youku tends to 'cheap' out on cgi and such if they have big actors because they know people will still watch it anyway because of huge fanbases
I can't wait for the heavy scenes of WL and ZLS, I know they'll nail it
