It's a sensitive topic to them and more about I guess a matter of preserving their 'pure culture'. I just hope not many drama will be cancelled because of this. All actors hardwork gone

Well, it's their government..too much censorship and I pity their entertainment industry as they can't explore and express creativity. Too much cancelling and when they cancel a person, it's really like all that persob works are totally erased

I wouldn't say those 18 episodes are senseless. IMO this drama is delivering everything and not just focused and romance. I think this slowburn drama is more gratifying in terms of storyline as compare to other senseless story that yes got the leads together immediately but the story is 'meh' and illogical and the purpose is just for 'fan service'

Actually,Producer specifically requested and offered this drama to both of them

Agree. ML has more dramatic scenes as compared to fl. But that doesn't mean that one lacks a 'moment'. Lusi can hold more emotional scenes and subtle comedy compare to WL, whereas his strength is more on total control of eye movement and facial emotions and badass fighting scenes( some not great though)IMO..but we will see what more they can offer as part 2 is where all the angst is

ZlS comedic timing is flawless. She is only one of the few c- actress that I don't cringe whenever someone pulls those acts

WL is really amazing and a child actor so he's a bit veteran compare to lusi which only debuted 5 yrs or so. Glad to see that these were able to work together. You can see that they're one of the best of their generation if not the best already(imo)

Rewatching episodes and some of my favourite scenes to ease a bit of agony of waiting for next episodes. I must say WL and ZLS is one of the best CP chemistry I've seen from cdramaland. They have very few interaction and no kissing scenes as of now on part 1 but damn, you feel the crackling intensity once they're together on the screen. Kudos to the director for also capturing and conveying the emotions that he wants the viewers to feel in each scene. The drama is not yet finished but I'm already anticipating these two wonderful talented young actors future collaborations again. Hopefully a xianxia or a modern one!
