Exactly. JH doesn't really do much for SY either but at least he's good at expressing himself and that comforts her. Suyeong was right when she said her and sangsu are similar, they struggle with expressing but SY has always held out a helping hand to sangsu at work whenever he was struggling with something. I hope sangsu will eventually build up the courage to do that for SY. I just don't get how you're madly in love with her but won't do anything when she's being hurt right in front of you. Even as a friend or colleague, you could at least say few kind words.

SY is way more f*cked up than i thought. Don't get me wrong, i still like her to bits bcs a well written realistic character is rare in kdramaland. I hope she'll get over her own hesitation and admit to her feelings instead of stringing along jonghyun. Tho i know her intentions aren't bad, it's just that she's choosing comfort over feelings with him. Her trauma isn't stemming from some one issue, the world is regularly abusive to her. From her family to her workplace. Expecting her to make sane decisions and not make mistakes is stupid imo. Get therapy, girl 😭😭😭

For sangsu, he has a clear picture of what the difference is between MG and SY is but i like that he's vulnerable with SY and shows his frustrated grumpy side to her. He knows he looks pathetic to some extent and he'll get eventually get hurt but at least he's patient with her. I wish he'd know to use words bcs the silence when he should be saying something kills me 😭😭 why are you so dumb 😭😭😭😭

I don't think the characters are bad but their thought process and anxiety + mental trauma(?) is surely a factor that's keeping me interested bcs i do relate to making stoopid decisions (not as stupid as sooyoung still 😭😭).

I think the core plot is their class difference. It's not that sangsu can't stand up for sooyoung but that he won't. Sooyoung is viewed "differently" than him and he's aware what type of shit she's put through on a daily basis. He has no difficulty standing up for migyeong bcs he knows he's viewed as an equal (even if they aren't, societally) and his voice has weight to it. MG's friend was solid right on each point ngl. For sooyoung, i think he's aware that he'll be put through the same taunting that she goes through bcs "how could a permanent employee engage with a service rep and that too with someone like SY who has PeRsoNaLiTy IsSuEs?" And that's where his hesitation stems from. I was thinking he's obsessed with SY but now i think he's in a limbo bcs somewhere down the line he knows SY likes him too and he's too frustrated of waiting. Of course, bcs it's a drama, I'm sure he'll eventually stand up for himself and SY but right now, i feel like that is a very distant dream.

It was a fun show and i really really enjoyed bright davikah off in this show. I wish off and jenny had gotten bit more screentime though. Of course, the show has its flaws and it dragged on for a while that i honestly watched it at 2x speed lol but I guess they needed some drama to stretch it. I think 14-16 eps would have been fine. Looking at Koo's record, astrophile falls in the better part of his career lol

Personally i like shows which have a mature vibe while keeping the romance cute and fluffy which is exactly what astrophile did. Some parts were ridiculous but the issues that nub and kim faced in their lives were very real and relatable to some extent. Like bright said, they got their happy ending so i hope they remain happy and trust eo 🥺

Loved lovedddd bright's acting here. This is my first time watching davikah and i get all the accolades she gets, she's really awesome.

The steamy kisses were a plus hehe love when adult actors know how to kiss 😂

I don't stand for any man in this show bcs this show solely belongs to youngwoo, it's her world and her story of growth and trying to live in a world that considers her as a "handicap". I think people are too caught up with which man is better than which man rn lol MY is a prejudiced person who didn't think an autistic lawyer can perform while JH is a guy who can't, for the love of everything, speak up on anything. That's the whole point, they're men who are flawed and WYW's existence is a lesson to them. Neither are better than the other.

Of course, i don't want to see youngwoo's growth only revolving around her work, I'm hoping we'll get to see her relationship develop with her dad and, for herself to have someone whom she misses at the end of the day to have a talk with.

So much talk about romance and chemistry, i think most are expecting this'll be a casual romcom full of swoonworthy ✨ moments ✨ and kisses and whatnot. Well, let me tell you that this is a romance line with an autistic person who doesn't decipher emotions as you do. Love and romantic gestures don't register their meanings to her unless it's bluntly put in front of her. Physical touch is not comfortable to her (unless it's from close trusted ones) and she is unable to express her emotions/feelings bcs a lot of feelings are overwhelming to her, she has to first get comfortable with the idea that there's someone who makes her heart go ✨thump thump✨. You're not going to get your "damsel in distress needs rescuing by prince knight and said damsel makes moony eyes at prince" romance here bcs to her, everyone is a prince/princess who has helped her, bcs she knows she needs good people around her to live her day to day life. It's going to take time for her to find the best one from those.

I'm glad with how the writer is handling the romance line and driving the point home that love is for everyone but clearly it's not the main point of this show.

I think it's pretty obvious some people are coming here with a vendetta to shit on this show bcs the cast has Bright. Look, he's not an extraordinary actor neither is the series anything particularly spectacular but it's still good and enjoyable. Coming to dump on a show bcs he did one BL and working with women makes him unlikeable in your eyes.. is abhorrent, please know that this work doesn't belong to bright only. Don't get me wrong, i perfectly understand that not everyone has to like it but I'd love to read some reviews that are genuinely.. just reviews and not from a biased perspective. It's just a show, don't get your knickers in a twist. You can't go around sabotaging every show out there. Some of the profiles posting here were literally made overnight.

Davika, Off, Bright are doing great and i do agree the plot progress is little slow but it's enjoyable and hopefully will pick up soon. The comment section gives me a headache bcs of these obvious trolls and that christn, hope it becomes a healthy place for conversation between people who genuinely have something to say about the show/cast/crew.
