Language definitely can be a bit of a barrier, and things do get lost in translation- but i see so many people ranting about a series without any critical thinking. xD Ranting for the sake of ranting- sure. But just being negative kinda doesn't help imo XD
If someone corrects them, or gives them a broader perspective they get defensive. Some things are cultural, some things are there just to roll with it, etc. That's the only thing i don't like about reading comments. xd
Like many, i don't really have people irl to discuss things with- so I get all giddy when i see positive or constructive criticism xD

Saying anything about the the stalking is so redundant as they've made sure to depict it is wrong. Not even Jesus can help those who think it is romanticized xd

That makes it all the more sad :< If s2 happens, i just hope they do my boy Xi Gu justice and we get a happy ever after, he suffered enough. xd

The ending broke me so bad, I was crying for days. I still get depressed over it sometimes xD

There is a theory that the ending was Hao Ting's awful dream, and that's why they appear in Life, Senjou no Bokura. S2 might be about that. If I'm being completely honest, I'm reaaaaaaally hopeful they will go with that, instead of any other possibility. :D

Someone in the comments below said that they saw it being confirmed it was a dream, and Xi Gu is alive. It was quite cruel for the fans, i honestly cried for days. But, seeing their cameo in Life Senjou no Bokura, the dream theory makes sense.
Xi Gu deserves the world, and to be honest i just wanna see Wayne and Chun Chih again <3

If i could, i would bear hug you rn! <3 Thank you for giving me crumbs of hope, lol. They deserved so much better, Yu Xi Gu suffered his entire life, so the ending was unjustified and i still get depressed over it. I legit cried when i saw their cameo in Life, Senjou no Bokura, so i'm very hopeful s2 (if it happens ) will be happier and more positive.
As far as waiting it out if it airs, maybe don't look at reviews here. Just wait to find out if the ending is happy or sad. That's what i do when I'm unsure XD

Honestly you're a trooper for enduring it three times! Once was enough for me, and i still get depressed over it sometimes, lol. The cameo they had in Life Senjou no Bokura stirred up in me some hope that the rumors might be true, and that we will get a more fulfilling ending. I legit cried when i saw them.

Honestly, i don't think people would be too happy with a storyline devoid of Yu Xi Gu. Most people, including me, are hoping for the fever dream and a continuation of the story. I legit cried when i saw their cameo in Life, Senjou no Bokura. I am still hurt over that last episode of modc. xD

That's how i view this series as well. Live-action manga. Somehow it seems like people on mdl are so quick to point out and find any flaws with all shows xD

Honestly, you are a rare unicorn in that regard, and this may be the first time i hear someone likes the BXZG couple more than HTXG :O To each his own of course, but as BLFan said MODC is a beloved gem in the HIStory series :D

I wish your comment would be the first thing people come across regarding Fu Yong. It's like they criticize blindly or based on trends without any sort of comprehension or critical thinking. Honestly, it's tiring. :<

I was also annoyed with the girl, like she was overstepping big time- but the ?smirk in the bathroom- made everything better :D

I enjoyed this so much. It was cute, simple and really well done. The actors did a great job, and the story was engaging. Even tho it was a rather short series (movie length in total) they did a great job with providing context and backstory for the characters. It sorta, kinda ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm hoping there will be S2 of this? The ending was satisfactory tho.

Anyway, you should definitely watch it. :D

I have the same dilemma. I'd rather watch it after all episodes air, and stay away from comments/reactions. Not that i don't like spoilers, it's just that comments are mostly polar opposites here. Either people love something or hate it with a burning passion. What's "worse" everyone seems to provide rather good and logical points xD
