Okay, someone on Tiktok has a theory and I now hate her. Let's just say her theory has this ending badly and now…
If this ends badly, I'll be kicking some ass in Taiwan. Don't wanna get depressed at the start of spring, lol I accept only two endings: -happy cuddly couple that learned their lessons the hard way, or - Happy people, who realized they love each other very much, but its just platonic. xd
The date when Shi De first emailed Shu Yi was 15(?) June 2020 -- I think it was 15 but correct me if I'm wrong...…
I have a feeling they used email to write letters, and Line for chatting? Like you know cheesy romantic long essays via email, and daily chatting on Line.
Omg i read a lot salty comments of people judging Shu Yi rather quickly and calling him childish? ;_; We saw a lot of details packed in short 10 minutes. What would you do if you saw your partner after so much time, with another and holding a baby? Immediately after seeing that you receive a text saying "I need to tell you something in person"?? Of course you would think the same as Shu Yi. Everyone would. This is their first relationship, and they barely started dating when Shi De left for America. Distance, and possibly his father could have had a part in making Shu Yi decide not to confront Shi De when he saw him.
Shi De could have sent him a text or pics or whatever, for example saying this is my stepsister and her kid, if they in fact were. Shi De spent his college days, and most of his high-school days chasing after Yi. All of his actions were thought through and based on the sole desire to get closer to him. If the medical bills are his, and he is very ill, he could have asked Yi if there is a possibility of them meeting in America or Taiwan for the holidays- and break the news then and there. Explain: hey, i am sick/dying, i need to stay in America for further treatment yada yada. If the bills are for his mother, text him saying my mother will be needing me for more than two months, but i can't wait to see you..
People are so quick to judge Shu Yi, when in fact Shi De is just as "guilty" of ruining their relationship. They didn't have enough time to establish trust, and there were probably people around them influencing their way of thinking. Although people won't agree with me, Shu Yi's reaction was very human, and in character. He reacted the same way when his best friends broke his heart- he walked away to deal with it on his own terms.
I just heard about this, and i am so glad that i did! The teaser is beautiful! The colors are so muted, yet somehow warm and comforting? The story feels quite dark in contrast, so I'm scared to hope for a happy ending. I can't wait for this to air tho <3
Does anyone perhaps know what is the piano piece/song that starts at around 08:00 min mark? It sounds so hauntingly beautiful.
Okok so ik everyones like super excited about season 2 and fr so am I legit cannot get them out of my head butttt…
The switches to Japanese were too cute to handle, honestly! The cutest ones were when Shu Yi got scared in the health clinic at school, and obviously when he confessed :D
Every theory my brain can come up with falls completely flat after seeing the MV. BTW, I love the song, it's beautiful.It…
Some people are saying in the comments that Shi De has a darker and more controlling side to him, but that still doesn't explain the ghosting... Maybe Shu Yi's father had something to do with it, as (i presume ) he is influential enough? Maybe the distance and separation did it's thing, and Shi De's feelings gradually cooled down, but Shu Yi never stopped hoping? I have so many questions xD
Yooo I am soo mad. Ghosting him for 5 years?? DUDE, you better prepare a mad good explanation, cause that's just terrible, Shi De. You made Shu Yi fall in love, you're his first relationship, he was willing to wait for you, your mother even accepted him- and you disappear into thin air across the world? I am not ready to cry, so you two better resolve this, or I'm risking it all and coming to Taiwan to throw hands ;_;
I loved every second of this! Especially the switching to Japanese, aah so cute. Although the trope enemies to lovers isn't all that new, this series managed to make it work amazingly :D The ending was cute, but sad, but cute? xD
I did not sign up for the crying fest that is episode 3!! Seeing Yuuki break down at the end of the line that brought Akira and him together ー broke me. Akira's words fvcking cut like a knife. He reduced 10+ years of a relationship to a "mistake". Bro!? You deserve a slap. Even tho i was ugly sobbing, there was a feeling of some sort of unexplainable hope at the end of the episode.
I'm kinda bitter that Sora stayed with her mother, but i kinda understand. I cried for the last 15 minutes, but the ending was satisfactory. Nagisa was selfish but i still loved every minute of this movie. Shun... my god, you can have all of my love. <3
About the ending, I think that when they said they didn't know if they would meet again (but they were clearly…
That's what I thought too! The ending has the same vibe as with s1, and they kinda announced it themselves xD I'm really hopeful this is just to help us while we wait for s2 :D
This is a crackhead acid trip, and i loved every single second of it! :D No supporting characters, no "real" story, just making fun of recycled romantic and BL tropes- pure awesome. The only thing tying everything together was a message: When you love someone, show them and express it before it's too late. <3

But I am sooo worried for the next season ;_;

They should make it so that Perth and Yoon fight for Talay xD
