A very common thing in chinese dramas specifically is that they try to make this behavior comedic when they are not.
And dont get me started on those cheating dramas were the man suddenly wakes up from having sex and doesnt remember what happened at all. Remember drunk people cant consent and this goes BOTH WAYS.
We know what women go trough on their daily basis in this society and for sure i'm not trying to minimize that but it triggers me that we also dont talk about s*xual harassment and r*pe when the victim is the man.
Both should be dealt we seriousness and not a comedic way!!!

We know that mental health is still a taboo around the world, even more in South Korea that has one of biggest suicide rates in the world. They probably just wanted to make a more detailed explanation to us viewers to make us aware of the characteristics of the theme in question

And the fact its the cutie pie that did the drama My Name i want it more......When i say cutie pie i meant out of the drama, cuz i remember seeing his interviews and he was so lovely
It was a good drama, and i for sure recommend this one. Good story, good acting and i'm still recovering from episode 7....that one broke my soul.
But i feel like the second couple story was unnecessary to the plot, i feel like they tried to show a self esteem problem but it didnt translate well for the story, first of all i didnt feel like the doctor was good with boundaries, specially after the nurse rejection in the beginning.
I was also expecting maybe more diversity in terms of mental awareness, they could talk about anorexia, bulimia and probably many more.
I believe that the site i watch dramas uses the same subs as the main network, but this subs were so bad....i dont remember a Netflix dramas having such bad subs, normally is Disney+ that has the bad ones!
When i first came here the first time i really thought that the airing date was wrong and this could not end in January but oh boy was i wrong.
One episode every two weeks? At this point this is just self sabotage from the network.
In this day and age were everyone's the attention span is lower and lower they do this? Theres no way in hell they are able to maintain the viewership until January. I'm GLAD i decided to wait until the end because i just know i would end up dropping this, and not because its not a good show but i would be tired of waiting and lose the interest
So i dont know if anyone said this but i feel if Woo Hak was Hu Ki his mother would NEVER in a million years let him be a news reporter. Very risky for them.
Another thing that is shaking my brain is the fact that in one of the trailers they show a skeletons so i thought it could be FL father but then i also remembered that was a scene also in the trailer of a car getting taken off water.
The biggest plot twist they could do was kill Hu Ki and his mother while they were on the run...but then we had scenes of him growing up where we couldnt see his grown face.
Since the trailer came out i had the feeling that Bo Geol is the ML and i still stand by that, but we never know
I just know this drama is going to put us on the edge of our seats!!!
I dont like when i see comments saying that FL talks like a child, because in this SPECIFIC case i find it realistic. She got lost when was a child and she clearly lost part of her vocabulary while living in Mongólia and her learning forms were literately dramas and an old woman that probably doesn know much. How many cases in real life we see from people that literally forgot how to speak their native language because they dont practice? Even i, a person that never left my country sometimes i forget words in my native language but i remember them in English. For Nam Soon Korean can maybe be considered her second language, this is literately a micro aggression for many people around the world, its just like criticizing people for having an accent while talking other languages....and many of this comments come from people that can only speak one language

I honestly was already expecting the comparisons between the two dramas, even i do them but ive seen comments elevating the writing from the first one so much but i personally feel that they are both at the same level in terms of script writing. I re watched the original one a few weeks ago and i noticed so many major flaws, specially when it came to the stalker brother of ML plot line....it was messy, but what made it really work was the AMAZING chemistry between the leads and i think the chemistry in this one is also making the plot justice.
But calm down i can tell that this one also has its flaws, specifically with the little amount of screen time of FL and ML together (Thank god they look the cutest when they are together, compensating the screen time the have ). Like a person below comment the fat-phobia on this is also not the best thing, and in today's episode the line were the grandma boyfriend asks her if she is transgender just because she is strong.....THAT was a choice of dialogue that didnt feel right!
And GIRLIES i know the villain is hot but saying you want them together and stating you have second lead syndrome on a man that only sees Nam Soon as a tool to his objectives and may i add someone that is responsible for deaths!!! and addictions!!!!! (This comment is mostly directed to people on TIKTOK) The flag is the reddest it can get, and the leads look absolutely cute together.

I once watched so many of these cheating dramas that i felt that my anger issues/ anxiety were always on top, so in the present i try to avoid this dramas like the plague but i came across many clips on tiktok and this one caught my attention.
But after reading some comments i was really surprised that they are recently married and he is already cheating ??? LIKE WHYYYYY????? And for my understanding the mistress has some type of vendeta against FL parents ( please correct me if im wrong) and so she decides to take revenge by being a mistress to her friend husband?!?!?!?!
Another topic i read was about the fact that cheaters in the dramas always have so many skin ship, sex scenes and kisses while the main couple has almost nothing and theres cases we have not even a kiss between them. Its a common thing in kdramas and cdramas at this point but im honestly tired of the sanctification of the main couple and and the way they try to make them the purest people on earth. Action people we need action
Since this is a daily drama i will probably only watch a few clips for now on tiktok and youtube and when the revenge part begings i will start to watch the entire episodes, my guess is that the cheating is only being discovered after two more weeks,,,uuuuhhhhhh
Im going to be strong and try to wait until the end to watch the drama, cuz one episode a week its actually insane. My attention span its not that good anymore !
Until episode 34 i was sure this was the best firefighter drama that i ever seen, but after that i'm VERY confused with how i feel with the drama.
First of all the good things about this drama :
I really love dramas were the relationships are natural and without over the top moments and i think this drama did a good job in that department. Good chemistry I loved the fire scenes (i feel weird saying this), i dont remember seeing so well done fire scenes in other chinese drama ever.
Things that i really didnt like
My girl was involved in 5 (if my math is correct) DIFFERENT fires, FIVE, not even the unluckiest person in the world would be that unlucky....by the final episode i was really thinking that this girl is a flame magnet. The FL father plot was really not necessary( and yes i know this was from a novel so they cant change that much) but since the mother only made a fast appearance the final plot was really out of place , and off course ML would unintentionally follow his footsteps.......UUUHHHH
Now the final scenes......did i understand them???? NOOOO, but im going to believe my fantasy, its the only way i can be happy
But i 100% recommend, i think the goods of this drama are more than the bad
Saw the trailer and looks good but i really dont think that this type of drama has enough material for 40 episodes... At this point im just scared for the amount of screen time that they are going to give to side characters that their only existence is to make us viewrs in frustrating journey, just like they did with recent dramas 🙄
