FL didnt get to were she is without help, especially her ex husband, it was already said that he teached her in the beginning and most probably some of his connections also became hers.
Many my professors said to me that you need connections and that the place i studied was a good place for that. We live in a world that nothing can be done without a little help from other and even if we dont like it we need to adapt. I'm also like ML, i HATE asking for help but sometimes is needed.
I still have to say that one of my classmates helped me a lot because she already had a previous master's degree but decided that she wanted to study more and she was a great help to not only me but others in my class.

I cant agree with you saying when you said " if you were listening to what the drama try to enrich your knowledge and deepen your understanding of life and relationships it was better" and thats because in my opinion this drama right now is showing a very misogynistic message wrapped around in comedic relief....The ex husband behavior is toxic and FL allows it, she has passive behavior when it comes to him and because of this he thinks he can abuse the boundaries...like in today's episode he opened her mail without consent. He called ML when he had no business to do so and even took him to a rich people event just so he can show off. He is dating his teenage years friend that also became FL friend along the way and the three of them are business partners. No one would react the way FL reacted, imagine your friend that clearly knows that your ex cheated on you multiple times and even knowing this she is dating him with the excuse that she liked him for a long time.
THIS IS TOXIC BEHAVIOR that should have been dealt with, but FL pretty much ignored it.
Talking about the hockey couple.....We didnt came here to see a university sports drama but unfortunately this is what they been delivering to us....only because they want to promote those actors. Plus we also have many things that could been used more screen time (like ML new business) so why do we also need a uncle that clearly cant read people and is just an annoyance to the people around him?
If they focused in actually important messages instead of a hurt male ego that would be nice

I dont think is hating but it the discontent of excessive screen time to secondary characters and stupid plots (in this case the hockey plot, that doesn't fit in this drama at all).
This is becoming a standard to cdramas...They use very famous leads because they want to push newcomers actors to the world and give them more visibility with the extreme amount of screen time that in the end takes over the screen time of the main leads.
I can remember the drama " A romance of the little forest" with Esther Yu and Vin Zhang, the amount of screen time that the second couple was taking was like 70% of each episode and when the leads had their screen time it would be scenes of them alone/ friends and not them together. And to add to the party they had to cut many scenes from the leads together because of censorship (specially one of the kisses i have scene in cdramas....you can find this on twitter)
I cant wrap my head how the same person that kidnapped FL and hanged her from the high ceiling was in the next episode seated at the same table having dinner with them.
But since dramas likes to normalize the "they are family, you need to forgive them" its not that big of a surprise!!!
I really want to know what type of contract this man signed with his company.... Lou Zheng at this point has been type casted to the character of the rich CEO that falls in love with a cute FL. Its sad actually i would like to see him in a modern drama with a normal setting and not a CEO

Someday or One Day is my favorite Taiwan drama ever. That being said I had low expectations for this show, like…
Did the original also had the gay plot ? I saw a comment say it was because of netflix drama, but the way the comment was made felt like homophobic so i would like to know if Taiwanese version also included this plot
I tried to watch the original 2 times in the past but i ended up dropping it both times so i the reason i gave the the korean remake was because of both leads and actually im not disapointed with this drama.
At some point i was extremely confused but in the end it all the pieces went to their respective places (maybe one or two are missing)😬
I personally feel that the way this drama was put together/ edited, made a complex plot even more difficult to understand.
It was a good watch, and maybe i will give the original another try

Its funny cuz we often see poor characters in dramas with the latest phone and good clothes but when we see a poor character acting like he is poor is mind blowing to us viewers.
I would also love for him to have a few more pair of shirts , he can clearly find some cheap options but since the show is showing the simbolism of clothes, with the mom's new dress and the old clothes of the father and in the first episode that scene of ML and his mother talking about buying a new shirt but only when it goes on sale, and fl also saying she can easily pay for the sirt after she ruined it with wine.
In this case i think its to show more their contrast and their diference. Maybe we will sim him with new clothes when he is a more stable position in life
