Decent Live Adaption of a 2 Volume BL Manga.

I've been with this series from the start from owning the manga, drama cds to even getting merch for it. It's actually not a story that's looking to hit you with anything new but to actually send a message that being gay doesn't make the person any different or inhuman especially in a society like Japan where it's still heavily shunned in this day and age. There's a few differences with things taken out and added from the manga to the live adaption that I wish I could list it all out but that would defeat the purpose that I wanted to get across. If anything it's a decent watch but nothing extravagant that took away from the story and characters.

Just remember that this is a Japanese adaption so while the intimacy was pretty much bland compared to it's manga counter part, the actors actually did a decent job with the roles and environment that they were given. Some of the settings from the manga would be hard to almost replicate via camera filming angle and financial reasons. Otherwise, most of the main points are shown in the live drama; being gay, outed, treated like an object to be gawked at while pretending to be okay and continuing on as nothing happened while encountering someone for the first time in your life among your peers who is sincerely into you, treats you as a normal person and cherishes you with all of their being. I don't wanna influence a non-manga reader so I'll leave it at that. It's definitely worth checking out.
