we have to remember that flora is young. I agree with what you’ve said here. but at ep18, she’s just four…
1000% agree with you . The power dynamics and social divide are evident in how she processes their relationship .
I think of the Phuket scene where Flora says she feels for Luke “half love, half respect and admiration”? She clearly cares for him; her issue is doubting he regards her the same way. Her flippancy is self-protection. “Sorry to bother you,” “thank you for your hospitality” etc. are her trying not to impose because she perceives a social gap Luke has done little to bridge.

I think the key thing about Luke is that we already know he doesn’t talk. He spent months as a child without uttering a word. Flora needs to understand that this isn’t necessarily a lack of feeling; it’s a limitation in how he processes and expresses it.

And I actually think Flora needs to lead the relationship more. She’s too easily influenced by everyone around her, including Luke himself. She needs to know what she wants, know who she is, and dictate the pace.

Because underneath the prickliness, short temper and trauma, Luke is actually incredibly amenable. And he’s smart. He sees the big picture faster than most people. If Flora starts modelling more progressive communication, vulnerability and emotional openness, he will eventually understand what she’s doing and why it matters to the relationship.

She doesn’t need to wait for Luke to teach her how to communicate. She can teach him. Not by forcing him, but by consistently showing him another way of relating. Once he understands that her behaviour serves the bigger picture of their relationship, I genuinely think he’ll adapt.

Because Luke can be expressive. His trauma inhibits him; it doesn’t make him incapable.

Flora just needs to stop waiting for permission and lead with enough conviction that Luke has something to follow.

I don’t agree that the series is making it seem like the FL is in the wrong. Why do people want to take sides?…
Exactly ! People are having a hard time understanding Flora’s social status and how much that is having a bearing on how she communicates with Luke

can anyone tell me? do Korean companies audit morals? I am struggling with the premise of the story even if it…
PM which is personal misconduct is an actual HR term and violations include work place affairs, espionage and harassment amongst others . Its not a Korean term

I thought only 3-4 were slower in pace. It picked up (for me) again in episode 5.
I can hear that. Ep 5 is a welcome bit.

Noticed that Hwang Jun Hyeon had signed from SOONYANG to CHOISEONG FC. Was this deliberate? Given the other "Reborn"…
Great catch!

I can’t be the only one hitting the fast-forward button, right? The first 3 episodes had me hooked, but these last two have been paced and choreographed in such a drawn-out way. It feels like we're losing all the suspense and tension we started with. Anyone else drifting away?

Title Climax
This drama is pretty much a westernised makjang trying to be gritty and "real" but forgetting to be entertaining…
It’s actually ironic that you say this, because the story is deeply rooted in real South Korean realities. Cases like Yu Menlong and Jang Ja-yeon highlight how these issues are not fictional, but part of a broader, troubling pattern—if you look into the circumstances and scandals surrounding their deaths, it becomes clear. What Climax is doing is offering a social commentary on this very crisis, rather than exaggerating it or westernising at you say. These are issues in the Asian entertainment industry.
