Wondering the same. Do we have to watch ALP to watch this?

Thank you so much, appreciating this so much! I have been saving ALP in my to watch list, yet haven't been able to watch it yet. It has filmed two spinoffs already, and yet I haven't managed to watch. This was so helpful!

So NYZ used to sell jewellery in an state to make living. So why bother hiding that in prev episode? Is it a bad thing to sell jewellery?

He does have crush on fl but it isn't that heart reaching. Its just, he had crush on her, the ml got to know about it, but when sml realise that ml and fl both like each other he decided to not let his feelings interfere much and simply considered them friends. So I won't say it was an unhappy ending. It was rather happy ending.
He got to keep his dream job even after struggles, got support from his friends, love from his friends family. Overall good.

My instincts tell me it's a distraction. I have been cheated a lot by these. There have been times, when I thought that the spot shown probably had some incident, big I e there. Only for it turn out, just a pretty thing in the chaotic environment. Or sometimes, they depict it to the last sentence or epilogue of the drama.

That is actually true. I agree. The k-thrillers which start with rather moderate 1st episode, always have a well plot, and well covered mystery concept. Whereas, a lots of kdramas which start with an adrenaline rush in the very first episode,fails to deliver the completion and sense of satisfaction at the end. They either come up with an open ending or somestupid ending. 'SCHOOL DUTY' being the best example to it. It was the worst disappointment, I could ever come across.
The fact that students were actually trained served as rather better potential and could compete with a masterpiece like 'All of us are dead'. Yet it failed at certain point.

That's possible,a bunch of scientist, limited and new tech, so limited area is provided, since rest of the scenes are not developed. But the seagull scene was really scary to me. The sudden realisation that they are the only moving species, there's not even a single ant, is scary!

Honestly idk, if they kdrama try to image 19-20 year olds as dumb and stupid just because they haven't stepped into society yet. This is the case in most school bully drama. I get that maybe the school bullies have powerful background. But can their powerful background compare to the voices of 200 students! Just keep complaining and providing evidences until they shut up. Internet isso advanced today. If 200 students post together. With the speed of internet the post already obtain ten thousand views before those so called powerful families could delet them off.
Instead, these students act scared, do not dare to say anything. Even if there's one student with common sense speaking against them and encouraging others too, they are killed off before we even start remembering their face

1) the girl, the vice president who has probably crush on president pushed him, so by the time he could climb up the track, it was already over. He actually tried coming up, but he was pushed off, MAYBE OFC. That's the most illogical logic I came up with.
2) it had a rule ofc. Kill off the side character's whose name hadn't been introduced in 4 episodes first. That was once again most illogical logic. They should have set a proper rule. Even if they had set a rule like, kill people on the basis of name alphabet, I would have been happy, it's weird that they were killed off randomly. Or was it in accordance to who logged in and started to play the game first maybe... Who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️
This drama actually has some plotholes up until now. Wish they covered them well.

Well, there's really not much horror. For a person like me who gets nightmares after watching a ghastly face in dim lights in a show ofc, this was literally nothing. Only once an episode for 5-6 seconds you would hearing non-existent sounds and then purple and red lights. Maybe try of first 5 mins of 1st episode. The amount of horror first 5mins has is most horrific till 4th episode. So if you can handle the horror in first 5mins, rest of it, will be no big deal at all. So maybe check it out :)

Tearing out the eyes are always traumatic, so ig age doesn't really matter in this one.

I do understand that. I have watched many dramas where these kinda journey occur. There are many dramas, where it is not about destination, but about the journey. Eg: the one with Zhao liying and wang yibo( I can't remember the name since it's been long, it was legend of fu something), then there's long ballad, blood of youth, heroes and lots more which I probably don't remember now. But this one just makes me feel draggy.
The above mentioned stories were about their massive growth in mentality.
But AJTL is neither about their growth nor about their mentality change. They already underwent the mentality change they needed in first few episodes, this story of more based on progress in their agenda, than in their growth. So it feels quite draggy for an agenda story. The only good laced growth I observed was for HLD (prince li aka princess ying). But other characters needed, were more of trust than growth, so they don't need to drag the destination of an state for that. They pace of trust is good, but the length of journey doesn't seem suitable to me.
There are many things that contribute to plot, but they don't need to lengthen their journey to an state to insert these things, they can come slow and steadily as they are coming to the characters.

Ikr! The quartet is also one of the main reasons that I am not bored by the story, so ething about it makes me feel the progress is slow. Nevermind. Let's keep looking forward!

I get the fact that they are trying to create stronger bond with all characters, maybe it's just me, but I felt there were some unnecessary things. I don't know if it's the fact that the whole delegation is serious and on a journey that I feel the romance is a bit too much or.. anyways, I don't know, I can't put finger on what it is, but something about it just makes me feel draggy. Anyways, let's just look forward to it, maybe the latter episode could make these past episodes very meaningful

Yeah, but there are so many things to cover, their main plot would actually start from An state, i.e. what I am predicting. It feels as if they just keep on opening mystery boxes whuch don't have significant role to the plot, until grouped up together.

Is it just me or their visit to An state is getting really draggy? It took them 16 episodes, yet they couldn't enter into the an state. It feels I am watching a story of 'Journey to an state'! Too many unnecessary things happen at certain times? (Personal opinion, no offense to anyone)

But the plot is atleast getting better. That's the only calming dose.

I hope lots of people who see lbfad, can see xinxin's versatility after watching MJTY.

But, there seems to have been only 4 episodes filmed though. And it's been quite long, I think they are gonna end it with ep 4 only. So maybe it won't be that bad. It's just, she will busy filming from now on.
Besides, she has a modern drama filmed. I have noticed, these days, modern dramas don't take that long to be aired. So I hope, we should be able to see her in 5-6 months again.
That's gonna be long and suffocating time tho-
