What is even the point of saying this here? Your bias is so blatantly displayed, and why choose to attack Reba's…
That's the difference with Western and Chinese dramas then. Dubbing is insanely common in most Chinese dramas, especially in wuxia/xianxia dramas for reasons I won't get into. Voices are a part of an actor's intellectual property, yes, but in the Western hemisphere. Not many people actually care too much about whether it's original voice or not.

Still, there is plenty of proof that Reba uses her own voice lines in most modern dramas and even some costume dramas, a quick 百度 search would tell you that:

Love of the Turquoise Island (2025): https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/1844713945116722940.html

Sword Rose (2025): https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/694194463633641732.html

The Blue Whisper (2022): https://baijiahao.baidu.com/s?id=1715838525765383923&wfr=spider&for=pc

Prosecution Elite (2023): https://baijiahao.baidu.com/s?id=1737041931192477486&wfr=spider&for=pc

Love Designer (2020): https://baijiahao.baidu.com/s?id=1667907328880950569&wfr=spider&for=pc

Also, just so you know, if there's no one listed under 配音, that means the original sound (aka, the actor's voice) is used, as shown in the following links:

Pretty Li Huizhen (2017): https://baike.baidu.com/item/漂亮的李慧珍/20109279

Hot Girl (2016): https://baike.baidu.com/item/麻辣变形计/16742684

Busy is absolutely an excuse btw, Reba has events to attend every other day or other dramas to film which prevents her from dubbing herself in everything, which takes like 2 weeks to a month on average. Dubbing itself exists as a tool for efficiency and actors who are particularly popular, which is Reba--- an actor who is particularly popular.

11/27/2025This is the issue that you all want whoever to be perfect and ignore the fact that she’s not perfect,…
What is even the point of saying this here? Your bias is so blatantly displayed, and why choose to attack Reba's voice of all things?

At the same same as Gulinazha ACTED IN (she did not make those dramas, the producer and staff did) Fighter Destiny and Chinese Paladdin 5 and Retourner le Monde a Toi, Ten Years Late, and Dancing in the Storm, Reba acted in dramas like Eternal Love, Eternal Love of Dream, Sweet Dreams, and The King's Woman, all dramas that were and many still are extremely popular in China while I haven't heard of any of the dramas you listed of Gulinazha from both the western hemisphere and eastern hemisphere. Nazha does most of her own voicelines in modern dramas, sure, but so does Reba no matter how much you try to deny it. Also, have you ever thought that Nazha may be able to dub more of her dramas herself because she's not as popular and therefore not as busy as Reba? There are simple answers to simple problems you know.

Just an fyi, especially in China, Reba's voice is very easily identifiable while a large majority of people likely have only ever heard of Nazha's name and never Nazha's voice so I'm not sure how Nazha wins in voice recognition anyways? I also don't know why you bring up Nazha not being able to sing that well and only being able to sing easy songs because all that does is contradict your point of Nazha's voice being better. I'm just saying, one of them sang on the Spring Festival Gala that almost all Chinese people tune in for and it wasn't Nazha.

Also, just so you know, you have never seen Reba do her own stunts because you never even watched her dramas. If you did, you would know dramas like Flame's Daughter, The Blue Whisper, Eternal Love of Dream, etc, she did many of her own stunts. In Flame's Daughter, she even used a real whip (which she injured herself with but still kept going) because that was what her character used.

I thought there was something fishy about her; that housekeeper or whoever she is of NJL’s where did she come…
translation:
Once Ms. Lu's triple layered identity is exposed, her existence will be more terrifying than the Earth fiends. Lin Xirou is just a minor player. Ms. Lu is neither a normal human being nor a part of the Earth fiend tribe. Rather, she is the descendant of an even more ancient guardian. They are the chosen guardian after Nuwa [a goddess in Chinese mythology who created humans] set the black and white Nirvana barrier [essentially a protective barrier that separates realms] responsible for protecting the human-Earth fiend harmony who's lifespan far exceeds that of a normal person. They possess a secret art that can control the Nirvana barrier and suppress Earth fiends.

This identity gives Ms. Lu the ability to completely dominate Earth fiends. Even more astonishing is the control she has over the human-Earth fiend feud. Everything in Lin Xirou's long-planned plot to create new "gods" is under Ms. Lu's control and knowledge. Ms. Lu long knew the truth behind the death of the Yan family but she chose to not do anything and wait for the critical moment of the harmony between the humans and the Earth fiends being broken. Even the discovery of Nie Jiuluo's Tangled Army [that's what I'm assuming when they say 缠头军 at least, I haven't read the novel] bloodline can't leave Ms. Lu's guidance behind the scenes.

She's not a good person in the traditional sense. She watched the Yan family's extermination yet did not take action to stop it. She watched Yan Tuo get used and his blood drawn but chose to stand by and do nothing. But she isn't a bad person. Her purpose is to protect the human-Earth fiend balance--- stop Lin Xirou's plan of exterminating the human race. She is like a calm observer of a chess game, operating within the frameworks of the rules, watching the chess pieces struggle against their fate. Only when the game is on the verge of losing control will she show her hand and restore order. This full picture perspective allows the danger she brings to far surpass that of the Earth fiends.

The goal of the Earth fiends are to overturn the rules, but Ms. Lu is the enforcer of the rules themselves. If she were to take action, it would mean a complete reset of the game. Additionally, Lin Xirou's kneeling plea to Ms. Lu for forgiveness is not just a fear of strength but for a deep reverence for the ancient traditions.

With fear of her own fate and as the head of the Earth fiends, Lin Xirou's life is filled with the pursuit of breaking the black and white prohibitions and let the Earth fiends tribe return to the surface, but deep down she knows that her strength alone is not enough to withstand even a single blow from the barrier-protecting guardian. In Ms. Lu's possession is the secret art to completely annihilating the Earth-fiend tribe and she knows the Earth fiend's most fatal weakness. Most importantly is the existence of Ms. Lu reminds Lin Xirou at every moment that her scheme is just a small clown's foolish antics. The real thing that controls the lives of Earth fiends has never been her wild schemes and ambitions, but rather the balance law upheld by the boundary-protecting guardians.

I believe she's human but not like, a normal human as you said. her blood has special properties from what i've seen. my theory/idea is the reason only she can kill the creatures is because of her blood (if you remember from the flashback, the blade she uses is fused with her blood and so is the bracelet she gave Yan Tuo which is supposed to be able to deal considerable damage to the creatures

The south hunters are like a ragtag group of people. They don’t show a lot of promise
that's sort of the point right now. the hunters are meant to be weaker because they are wayy out of practice
Replying to Nightlight Nov 25, 2025
i think they ar emore so referring to nie jiuluo being strong enough to kill a fiend, but i could be wrong
the pill (assuming we're talking about the one the other guy took that blinded him) are given only to the people from the hound family, it's not given to the other families so i don't think so

Started strong then everything went downhill after that fight between the hunters and the monsters. Both parties…
both parties having 20 years in their hand and the fiends taking advantage of that to get stronger is the point of the plot. it is why the story is unfolding the way that it is, or else it makes it no different than any other stories.

the FL didn't leave the hunters to heal the ML, she was chasing the fiend and happened to come across him when he essentially saved her. she later left with him because he was badly injured and would turn into a fiend (or something like that) himself if she couldn't get him treatment in time.

for the love of god, please pay attention when you are watching

Not sure what is normal but it is certainly bad and silly. Sent a rescue team to save one person and seem evenly…
mmm, not really. the weaker fighting scene isn't bad or silly, it's part of the plot and a pretty critical point too. the fight serves to show what has been said: the hunters have grown complacent over the years and are no longer as strong as they once were to face off against the fiends.

they didn't leave 5 behind to get captured, they left 5 of the stronger fighters behind to stall for time so the others could move the more heavily injured people away

Is it normal that the fighting scene in ep 7 was weak as part of the plot and the hunters future developments…
i think it is intentional because a large part of the main problem in this story is the hunters are out of practice and have grown complacent over the years so now the fiends have the upper hand
Replying to Sunshineeeeeee Nov 25, 2025
the hunters (other than FL) fight with hammers and whips🤔that doesn’t seem much efficient.ML’s bio sister…
from my understanding, each family serve a different purpose. hammer use is from the dog family and they are more so responsible for tracking but a hammer does do plenty damage to the fiends. the whip family's purpose lies in the sound made by their whips which repels (?) fiends. lastly, the blade family is the ones trained specifically for killing fiends.

idk if you watched blood river but in that drama, the main organization is also split into 3 families, all capable of killing but some more than others due to the other families focusing on other aspects. i think LOTL is similar to that structure

I agree totally. Aside the confusing plot, the villain seems to have the upper hand and are more strategic. Storylines…
help what? why wouldn't the villains have the upper hand? otherwise, it'd just be some generic plot where the good guys are always winning and what's the fun in that, not to mention, it literally renders the plot useless. idk about you but people tend to prefer when villains have the upper hand because that's what makes an interesting story and not something from a cookie cutter.

also, reba's last drama wasn't a flop. it was a huge success in china (which is the only place it really matters) and brought awareness to serious issues in the read world.
