I'm not sure if you had watched the new eps but he does admit that he didn't want to let go of Xiaoguang, but did so ultimately not because of his declining health but genuinely for Xiaoguang's future.

Ughhh, Song Yimeng's character is def so frustrating and I lowkey like her sister Song Yiting more because she knows what she wants and has a clear perspective. Keep watching though because the female lead definitely gets better but that only happens at like ep 30

I personally believe that her character is supposed to feel somewhat awkward because she's technically the only modern person in the world so she's def gonna stick out in terms of mannerism and language

don't worry, it's consistently topping charts in China and popular with not just her fans but her haters too! a lot of people online changed their opinions about her acting after watching some parts of this drama

hii, in China, it's one of the top dramas with number one popularity on 3 platforms and it (apparently, I didn't see but people said it happened) reached number 1 on weibo's hot searches!

I've seen a lot of people hate on her for her acting but everyone has their own preferences. A lot of the hate comes from people not liking her "cold" and slightly "stoic" facial expressions but personally, I prefer that type over the some of the more exaggerated acting because it feels more like a real character. Dilraba's acting in this drama is genuinely phenomenal and I hope she does more dramas like this because it really showcases her skills

hey, just so you know, Reba has never had any real rumors about her having plastic surgery. I don't want to have to criticize Lusi because I generally hate when people feel like the only way to prove how good their fav is is to bring down others, but Lusi multiple times has been accused of having surgery to look the way she does now (I'm not saying it's true, just saying many people of wondered it).

1. You being unable to read a couple of short paragraphs is proof of your short attention span.

2. Why bother posting something completely unrelated to the topic of the comment wall if you're not as free as me. I'm a 16 year old student who's on summer break, of course I'm free. What's your excuse as an adult double my age?

3. Your speech isn't short and to the point, it's short and ignorant as opposed to my lengthy but backed by evidence and logic responses.

4. I hope that you either get disbarred or don't pass your law exams, not because I wish bad on you but because I don't wish bad on your future clients. If you can't take the time to read my replies, then how do you expect to review your client cases?

First, I think it's really interesting that you say I talk a lot yet I am empty. I actually took the time to read your point of view and express why I disagree with it while you either didn't actually read what I wrote outside of what you want to see me as, or you don't have enough respect to even try to acknowledge the other side's points.

Second, how much you love a country has nothing to do with your ignorance towards Chinese customs because you say that you watch its series, want its product, eat what they make, and wear what they make, but none of that constitutes understanding Chinese society and culture. You point that "if China's industries are local, then we are the largest importers of what China manufactures" does makes sense, but only on an economic setting, in which we are talking about dramas. International fans are important, however, production, regulations, and especially episode numbers are still shaped by domestic fans because there are a lot more domestic fans then there are international fans. Unlike in a economic setting, being a consumer of a drama does not constitute to you being able to dictate how something is made. You can give feedback, but not control it. If your phrasing was "I wish cdramas had less episodes," with a more valid reason then you can't handle more than the typical kdrama 16 episodes, then you would be giving feedback. Instead, you chose to use the phrasing "China shouldn't" which implies you want the industry to change according to your needs, which is unreasonable.

Third, if you've truly watched a lot of Chinese series as in cdramas when you were younger, why are cdrama episode lengths now an issue? Cdramas in the past and also cartoons were often minimum of 50 episodes with some spanning over 100 episodes, so why is 30-40 episodes a series a problem now? This isn't meant to question your love for Chinese series but a genuine question.

Fourth, I'm not the one deciding whether you are an intruder on a country. In fact, I wasn't even the one to say you are an intruder. I specifically used the phrasing "a foreigner and outsider" because if you ever went on Chinese social media or knew anything about the Chinese language, those who are not nationally or ethnically Chinese are called "外国人" with "外" literally meaning outside.

Fifth, just like you don't think I have the right to decide that you are an intruder, what gives you the right to decide my ethnicity? I'm 100% Chinese, both my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc are all 100% Chinese. I've literally lived in China before moving to the US for my education. I'm not sure of a lot of things in life but the one thing I am sure of is the fact that I'm more Chinese and understand more Chinese culture and society than you.

The type of romance isn't what matters. The main plot is human trafficking but by adding romance in, it pulls the focus towards the romance aspect instead of the human trafficking aspect because in general, people prefer romance.

Currently, the focus is on human trafficking as a topic, but by adding romance in, the focus becomes the female lead and the male lead, even if romance is a subplot.

I can understand your desire for romance in dramas, however, there are certain topics romance should be avoided and this drama is one of them. Even if they added in romance, this drama would almost definitely be criticized for being distasteful and using human trafficking as a way to further the actor and actress's careers as opposed to bringing awareness.

You talk about me being rude and I do admit that my comment is a personal attack and therefore rude and I did acknowledge that in my reply, however, you calling me rude is literally the pot calling the kettle black. Do you not think that posting a negative leaning comment on a show you have no interest in watching is rude to the people who spent a lot time and effort in filming 30+ episodes, and for a drama meant to bring awareness to human trafficking no less, not to mention, do you not think it's rude to the people who do feel like 30+ episode dramas are either just right or too short because you are disregarding their opinions? Before you come at me for disregarding yours, keep in mind that you are the person who decided to post first.

You might not have meant for it to come off as such, but to me, your post comes off as entitled. You say "China shouldn't make series with so many episodes,I can't watch..." The key words in there is "I" and "shouldn't". Why should the entire cdrama industry bend to what you can and can't handle? You, who would be considered a foreigner and outsider in China, wants China to bend to your standards and Korean style of entertainment? Does that not seem ridiculous to you? Expressing your opinions on how long a drama should be is one thing, saying China shouldn't do something is a different thing. If you can't handle the way another country does things within their own country, because by the way, cdramas are not made with international fans in mind but rather domestic fans, then maybe you shouldn't get into the cdrama world at all. Just something to think about the next time you decide to post negative and ignorant comments, even if you didn't intend to.
