there are two routes: liuliang and tsingyi. tsingyi can get many endorsements and better scripts than liuliang (for example: non idol dramas/main theme dramas, good movie projects) and they get recognitions from general public. you should know liuliang isn't everything. there are liuliang who switch their route to tsingyi too because it's better for long term career (liuliangs tend to get idol dramas but people getting older and can't play idol dramas forever if you want have actual reputation as actors/not just popular celebrities who happened to be actor). it's good to be liuliang but there is another way to climb to the top. there are many actors/actresses whom have public recognition + critically acclaimed acting skills + many endorsements without being a traffic stars/have huge fanbases.
but "tsingyi" is term for "actress" i don't know what its called for "actors" but most popular veteran actors and older generations are taking this route. I'm not surprised if the younger ones want to take this route as well even though they're still on lower side of pyramid. if you're more familiar with korean entertainment, the top tsingyi ones are like chungmuro actress/actors.

I only watched 3 eps of TSOPG. nowadays I'm so lazy in updating drama that I am planning to drop after eps 3. I also haven't updated Love Game In Eastern Fantasy episodes on my list although I've watched up to ep 6. if you check my profile history you'll notice how lazy I am updating episodes, only updated it when i finished or depends on my mood

"If It Is You by Jung Seung Hwan" was crazy popular ost back then. This song was also used for singing mission in the most popular survival show Produce 101 Season 2 (the most popular season of Produce saga).
I don't think this drama is as slow as some people here said. The pacing is alright, it's a psychological thriller but not draggy at all. Once you're invested in the plot and its vibes, everthing feels gripping and makes you're anticipating the upcoming episodes. Everyone is good at acting, the directing and music bgm are top notch.
I feel annoyed, anxious, frustrated and curious throughout the episodes, and those are feelings I've been looking for while watching suspense drama. So fun!

yes it's important for me because the plot emphasize that Jeong Suk is a big beauty, the winner of Chilli Pepper beauty pageant and such a shame a total beauty like her has bad luck in life. If only they didn't portray her as the prettiest woman, I wouldn't complain at all. like you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in my eyes she doesn't fit "the prettiest" title because she doesn't look natural here and the styling makes her overall face look imbalance in some angles. it is OK if you don't agree with it.
