I just want to add, Zhang Jingyi and Zhou Ye are actually the most established actresses among 95 flowers. Like it or not they're the faces of 95 flowers along with Guan Xiaotong, Yu Shuxin, and Zhao Lusi. They are definitely not rising stars... it's like saying Bai Lu is a rising star among 90 flowers which is wrong because she's already established and got first tier resources.
However, I have to disagree with some. Rising stars have nothing to do with age. You can be 30 years old with 10 years acting career but only made a breakthrough recently which makes you rising in terms of popularity and securing good resources that you never had. Zhang Wanyi and Wang Xingyue are truly the rising stars this year. Along with Yu Shi.

Zheng Shuang's acting was also bad but still bearable to watch. However her kissing scene was the worst. As for Bei Wei Wei's personalities and portrayal, I prefer movie version.

agree. taking care of sick + depressed person is not easy. i've been there, done that. it's exahusting and affect our mental health too. what hyeonjun said to seokryu during their quarrel was harsh, but it had truthfulness. he could've expressed it better, but i understand because his mental health wasn't normal at that moment. seokryu was annoying and selfish at that time, but i understand her because she was depressed. both hyeonjun and seokryu's behaviors were all justified at that time. both couldn't think clearly, i understand both sides.
both FL & ML are full of flaws, but i'm less into ML because he's kinda selfish. His character is so not well written.
1. when Seokryu was sick, instead of following Seokryu and Hyeonjun to hospital, Seunghyo was flabbergasted at home, pondering why Seokryu chose Hyeonjun over him. if he truly cared for her he would've made sure Seokryu's health was alright first. But he always made it about himself. Hello? Your bestfriend is sick! Your crush is sick!!
2. He cut off his contact with Seokryu without any explanations when he found out Seokryu has a boyfriend. I understand he didn't know Seokryu was sick and depressed at that time... But isn't she your bestfriend? after all the good things she has done in your life since your childhood days you completely ignored her texts and calls just because you can't date her??? I mean you have right to feel upset, but again, isn't she still your bestie? even people whom have good mental health would overthink and sad if their precious bestfriend suddenly ignore them for no reason (yes for no reason if you see based on Seokryu's perspective). imagine if depressed people like Seokryu would think.... As I said before, Seunghyo was always made everything about himself. F*ck a longtime friendship, to him, his feeling is his top priority. So what if he ignored his long time bestfriend without any explanation, as long as his feeling was alright although he KNEW Seokryu looked bad when he saw her~~~
So far EP 10... I'm still unable to feel the love from FL for ML too. I can feel it when they were younger but now they're adults I can't feel it. Maybe start from EP 11 her love will be blooming. She's just get over her past love, former ex, illness, and basically everything. She went through so much, it would be weird if she prioritized her lovey dovey feeling during those hardships. She ain't Seunghyo :P Her only obstacle is her dream but I bet she'll get her parents' approval soon because they're weak to sick children (just like how her mother is lenient to the useless brother just because he once had serious illness). ML is the real winner of this drama!
he is treating her badly too, and so selfish for always thinking of his one sided love first in anything. also in today episode how he just ignored her when his so called bestfriend was depressed. i'm with you, i hope the main leads won't end up together.
pretty cinematography, the filter is also pleasing to the eyes. love that the duration of each ep is short. the only downside is the acting skills... so horrible and unnatural.
