honestly it was really good, especially for a short drama, the FL wasn't childish or anything like that, she was grown knew to differ right from wrong and brought a new kind of Mulan-story. A sequel with her parents story would be also really interesting. The drama was still short enough to be really enjoyable nothing was dragging and I really liked how the leads trusted each other and could solve misunderstandings very quickly. A really well-made short drama. Highly recommend😋

I've already watched dramas back then but not as much historical one's, ... do you also think they produce more historical wuxia or xianxia dramas nowadays?
I finally watched it after such a long time contemplating because the 56 ep were really intimidating in the beginning and the emotions I felt through this drama were crazy like.... But after I finished I have to admit I am still sad even though its a happy ending, theoretical speaking but why five years, and why couldn't he just trust her in the first place and the reunion in the end wasn't really satisfying in my opinion,...... I would have LOVED to see them together, marrying, and just in my opinion it would have been better if those tragic last few episodes were happening sooner and we had more happy screentime in the end, .. idk I'm still kind of sad, what did you guys think of the drama? normally I#m not THAT emotional but the mistreatment in the beginning really angered me, the plot with that guy from the Lou family their engagement was too long in my opinion and they all had no chemistry and the empress death was so sad had to cry these last 10 episodes or so
SPOILERS INCLUDED, BUT A QUESTION: please can someone tell me what is going on😭 I watched the first part and I'm devastated but I don't really get the story ... are pin yu ans Hsiao tung also the same person again? because in the trailer for second part this other girl that is blind will be hsiao tung I think? idk im so sad its so depressing even though I can't wait to see those guys suffer (they really played their role well) idk if second part will be too depressing.... the whole gang rape....... its not for everyone
omg i dient expect to like this drama so much, the ending was really satisfying its not like you are sad or need to see more of them, perfect drama that helped me out of a drama slump, kept me entertained every week and delivered til the very last minute❤️ I have to say tho that there were more cooking scenes than plot but as a certified foodie I can't complain❤️

loved it, binge watched it but I had more expectations from the beginning because we were all waiting so long for its release and the trailer showed more fierce, heart wrenching scenes when in reality it was more of a light watch but nonetheless I was never bored and really liked it
