Finally found the drama I was searching for… a true gem ??♂️
When I first saw the preview of this drama, I hesitated for days — should I watch it or not? But the moment I watched the first episode, there was no going back. I ended up finishing the whole drama in one go.
From the very first episode, it never felt boring for even a second. The characters — the psychopath Ki Ka Young and Genie Iblis — were just perfect. Their personalities, chemistry, and growth made the story so addictive. The plot itself beautifully showed how people can be selfish inside and think only about themselves — but some moment was heartfelt especially when youtuber made his last wish for her wife.
As a fan of fantasy and rom-com dramas, this was exactly what I had been searching for.
About the ending — honestly, it wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t bad either. When a drama ends tragically, we blame the writer for making us cry. But when they make a miracle and let both characters live, we still blame them for making it unbelievable 😅 What a joke, right? Personally, I’m just happy they got to live again — my head and heart felt so at peace after that.
And the acting… absolutely amazing. Suzy and Kim Woo Bin were outstanding, and the chemistry between them — whether they were fighting or being romantic — was at its peak as always. The supporting cast also did an incredible job.
I don’t remember much of the OST in detail, but every track blended perfectly with the story. Nothing ever felt out of place. And honestly, these two made me smile so much throughout the show 🥹❤️
If you haven’t watched it yet, please do. There are only a few dramas that I never regret spending my time on — and this is one of them. I rarely rewatch K-dramas, maybe just two or three in total, but if I could erase my memory and experience this one again, I absolutely would. It’s definitely worth rewatching.
Overall, Genie, Make a Wish is the drama I’ve been looking for — one I could finish in a single night without any boredom.
Some K-dramas just hit different 😭💫
Started with “just one episode”… ended up finishing Genie, Make a Wish in a day 😩❤️
The story, emotions, and chemistry — everything was just too good!
Now this is what real addiction looks like 😭✨
