He is carrying the whole drama for me. I hope he'll be more famous.
He is from 9Percent, the legendary group formed on Idol Producer. I've heard they did really well in China, and a lot of his teammates are doing well too, so I guess he is not too low key. I hope he breaks through with this role, though. Among my crushes, he is the longest one :-)
I just finished it and I’m just… so confused? Nothing made any sense to me, and it doesn’t seem to tie into…
I agree! It seems they were trying to separate it completely from UN (produced by a diffdrent company) by revealing a lot of stuff that weren't supposed to be revealed yet... I actually enjoyed the series, but the last episode really was a mess! I am curious about what the books' fans think about this...
It is not as bad as I thought based on the comments... It is not at the same level as UN, but it is similar to season 2. I am actually enjoying it, even if some thing are different from what I expected.
I was kinda forcing myself to watch and almost dropped it but things really picked up after the big changes around episode 20. I am liking this a lot now.
Yes. What I mean is it would be unacceptable for a unmarried woman travel around with unrelated men, so the fact that she is going around with a bunch of soldiers and no female companion at all ticked my logic and took me out of the plot. I think they pushed it too far on this one storyline...
I am no expert but, isn't a princess (Leyan) traveling alone with a bunch of men a completely ridiculous setup? No maids, no personal guard... I hope they don't do this kind of thing through the rest of the drama, it really takes me out of the plot... Edit: Clarification
is it just me, but I literally have to force myself to finish this drama (because I have to finish what I started)…
I am trying it for the second time, now that it finished its run. I loved Chief Kim (from the same screenwriter) and I like SJK, so I will probably finish it. It is surely overhyped though, and I will probably just kind of watch it in between other stuff. For some reason it can't keep my attention.
The ending was so rushed...But that is nothing new. Overall a great drama, not perfect, but probably the best I've seen on this genre. Also, I loooove that everyone is soo smart! It is so refreshing!
I am really enjoying this drama. Latest episodes, though, have been showing there is a gap in the acting abilities of the leads... The FL acting range is kinda limited, and it shows in the more emotional scenes. It doesn't lower the drama quality, it is just something I've been noticing lately.
I always come to the comments section after I finish a show, excited to see the discussion and give my feedback... And most of the time regret it, and leave disappointed and with a bad taste on my mouth. Fandom culture is the main reason I've been distancing myself from C/K-culture lately... The show was great, though, up there with Idol Producer to me, and I am quite satisfied with the final lineup.
Finale thoughts:- We are the Youth performance felt like a debut perf already.- Not a big fan of the vocal solo…
I agree about the vocal stages, and I think part of it was for technical reasons... I don't know anything about this stuff and maybe my earphones are too cheap, but I almost couldn't hear their voices over the track... And it was this way for all the performances, even ZhouShen's.
Hi, from what I read from the novel, he should be blind throughout his life. Even after he got a child with Sang…
I was thinking the same... I didn't read the full novel, but I clearly remember his character saying that there was no cure. I was disappointed that they changed it on the drama...
The stabbing was an accident but everyone is acting like she stabbed him. Arguably, he stabbed himself by trying…
I kind of understand. Besides of the cultural rules of that time that made her action very serious, , I guess what happened before the stabbing complicated things a lot. She was partially at fault after all, so she felt guilty and couldn't say it was simply an accident, but If she were to explain everything, her situation would be a lot worse.
Edit: Clarification
