The thing is Su-Min wants everything Ji-Won has -- if Ji-Won chose to end her relationship with Min-Hwan right then and there, Su-Min wouldn't want to be involved with him anymore. That means these two won't end up marrying each other, which would unfortunately lead Ji-Won's plan (of changing her fate in this life) to failure. I hope this correctly answers your question :)
