they had potential
they just lost it somewhere in the start, the writing was chaotic and it felt all over the place and the editing wasn't good either, the music was a bit weird I’m ngl because why are yall singing about a boy huh, anyways it's worth a watch overall !like there was too much to work with and instead of solving current issues they just present new ones and forget about the latter lmao.
I think the actors did their best for what they were given, and I enjoyed watching it every week, the chemistry between naow and gyo was wonderful, and I love them sm, the side characters weren’t that bad either, especially my girl luktarn.
I might be a little biased in my opinion because it is gl series and I ate it up just because of that bUT and it was good for a light cheesy romance, a good watch when you’re bored :) .

This was so funny, nevia and ingkey are GORGEOUS, the airdolls friendship dynamic and development was interesting to watch. The makeup looks were really pretty, I hated the use of gen AI but I guess it served a purpose so that's that :/.kinda wanted to see the ships sailing but pat getting over ing in five seconds was hilarious. that to say, pat's acting wasn't that good compared to the others but he's not bad either. overall a nice watch and I would definitely rewatch it for a good laugh.

No, it didn’t have a ‘slow’ start
The pacing of this series was good, it had a solid start with the conflict that would lead the character, pun, to go back to Thailand and meet the other main character ploy. The relationship between the two developed well, they got to know each other and actually talk before anything happened between them…and I know the bar is in hell, but there was no non-consensual kisses or anything like that. However you shouldn’t go into this series expecting healthy communication, or green flag characters, if anything, expect the opposite…the characters are very messy and complicated and almost toxic, in my opinions, it was toxicity done well – with no power imbalance where one character is the weak poor heroine and the other character is the alpha that she will fix lol.All the side characters were good too, pun’s friends were hilarious and I loved every second of them on my screen, pun’s sister and her partner as well; they were great and their story was nice without it feeling like a whole other side series within the main series.
The directing was excellent, this is my second series from this director and her work is admirable. The cinematography was gorgeous, the coloring is so pretty and the places where this was shot were well picked….overall I give the cinematography 10/10.
The ost wasn’t all that but the music choices were good and they never felt out of the place.
The acting is also amazing, it’s hard to believe this is memi’s first acting job, she did so well, her facial expressions, the way she conveys emotions, and gives every scene her all.. give her all the awards right now.
Lastly, I think this is worth watching, I had so much fun watching it…the comedy is top notch and the romance is great…the chemistry between ice and memi is through the roof, I love how they just fit together. It is also worth mentioning that there is no homophobic relatives or homophobic ex-boyfriend.
It is also worth rewatching, and that’s what I’ll do now that it is over :).
overall if you like toxic yuri and red flag characters, you should definitely watch player !!!

Their chemistry wow-
This was a really nice watch. I enjoyed it very much.the chemistry between the main leads is astronomical. it should fr be studies in schools lol.
Loved bonnie's acting so much as she's kind of new, and she really is love's daughter, can't help but think of love everytime I look at her boba eyes.
The story is well-written, it is more of a story about the families, and their lives, more than it is a love story? I don't know it felt like since their love was established very VERY early on...the rest of the story just focused on the families. And I'm not saying that it's a bad thing.
It was also refreshing watching a gl where the grandma isn't so mean towards her granddaughter.
Overall it's a really fun watch and I highly recommend it, you won't be bored ! don't binge tho lol.

This was a light, cute rom-com, it was a fun and easy watch, nothing too serious or complicated.What I liked about this:
-The plot; naïve freshman who is kind of autistic thinks their senior hates them while said senior is head over heels for them ?? 10/10
-The comedy; they were very funny and Jane's innocence was endearing yet hilarious.
- Jane's family dynamics, their relationship was nice and it's refreshing to have a healthy family that don't hate their children lol.
-The trans representation, while brief, I loved how they depicted the trans character and her struggles and I loved that her family was mostly supportive and loving.
-ALSO Jane outright said she was a lesbian, which is a very cool thing considering a lot of GL characters just start liking the other woman and never acknowledge their orientation or talk about it??
-Finally, I liked that the OST was sung by an actual singer and not turning the lead actresses into singers as usual. and it was a good OST too.
NOW the things I didn't like:
-Too much characters, too little time. it's not their fault, yet they could've wrote a better script, there were a lot of characters and a lot of their stories were cut short while also not having time to focus on the main couple.
-Some of the camera angles were ugly, it felt experimental and I hope they never experiment this again !! this series could've been better with a good cinematography.
- AI use :/ the main character is a comic ARTIST and you are using AI???? did all the artists disappear in Thailand??? I get that the budget was non-exisitnet but really? AI?? for an artist main character??? was so disappointing.

Overall, I had fun watching it weekly, and I see myself rewatching it some time in the future. If you enjoy Thai university setting romcoms you would enjoy this.
