I liked that all the relationships between the characters (not just romantic) were interesting. I believe this is the show's biggest strength as well as individual character writing. On the other hand, for me the show had a very slow start and I felt like the plot didn't really get going until the later half of the show (I was kinda bored at the very beginning because it felt like nothing was happening).

These differing and complex relationships help make the show and characters feel more lively and realistic. For example, Fenglong, Xinyue, and Jing's relationship and interactions were so fun to me. I love how comfortable they are with each other and how they care for each other. Like Jing is usually pretty polite most of the time but he jokes around with Xinyue and Fenglong which is a good case of showing us how close they are rather than just telling.
