Mijoo and Seongyeom's roles are reversed in episode 7. Despite being a runner, Seongyeom is constantly trapped by his father and at the end of the episode, we could see that Mijoo helped him escape, or "run" from his clutches. Mijoo, being an interpreter, has difficulties expressing what she wants to say to Seongyeom because the latter doesn't understand her frustrations, and vice-versa. I'm thinking in the following episode, Seongyeom will "interpret" his feelings towards her and come to an understanding.
I really like how natural the show unravels Danah's complex character, especially during the soccer match scene with Yeonghwa. She's not a cold-hearted "psycho" CEO, but someone who's hardened by familial expectations, just like Seongyeom, and is forced to give up her dream.
The scene when the King was in the room with the Queen's cousin, definitely gave me chills. He made me sit back…
kjh really shined during this scene! his delivery was layered; first as a mere warning and when byeong-in directly challenged his authority (and his role as the queen's husband), oh boy, the king inside of him jumped right out LOL
The pace of this show is neck-breaking and there's never a dull moment. I really enjoyed it, but it kind of lost steam when they arrived at the beach. The turning point for the show was episode 3 (I'm sure we were all bawling at this point) and I thought they would keep the tone of desperation and despair throughout, but the Hatter/Aguni arc was weaker compared to the first half. Other than that, I think the ending was a great prelude to season 2. Excellent overall!
P.S. Didn't expect Kenma to make an appearance. LOL.
i love the chemistry between seon gyeom and mijoo so much! the way she gets flustered whenever he smiles and their subtle glances at each other are so heart-fluttering :') definitely didn't expect to get so invested after three episodes and i hope they carry the same momentum right to the end.
The way I cried in this episode xD First out of happiness when they kissed (holy shit that was so sweet!) and bawled during the last few minutes T_T I haven't cried this much over a kdrama since My Mister, but this one takes the cake for having the highest Tears Record. I'm not ready for the angst tmr :'(
When KT helped MY up and asked her if she was okay after she got punched...man I got so emotional because no one bothered to check up on MY when her father strangled her ;-;
The look in Moonyoung's eyes when she looked in the mirror after getting her hair cut was so liberating and full of relief...God this episode is such a tear-jerker, especially when Gangtae realizes that his mother had always tried her best to love him as well ;-;
I cannot wait to find out what Mun Yeong's mother said or did to young Mun Yeong before she ran to meet young…
I think it might have to do with her mother saying (and i paraphrase) how she was going to kill her prince charming or something from a previous episode

Also while Danah and Mijoo are going at each other's throats, Taeoh and Seongyeom are just being best bros together. The contrast made me chuckle xD
I really like the pacing of this drama so far! Never a dull moment.
