No in ep 8 Takuzo apologized for something different, which was not being able to go through with the threesome. Considering Shinpei and Takuzo looked like they were (almost) naked under the sheets when Mia found them I'm pretty sure they did do something sexual together.

Well it doesn’t seem like everyone is aware of it since people still recommend people to watch it on that site.

Yeah it’s possibly that when Youku sold the show to WOWOW they only cut scenes in the first 8 episodes so people still want to watch the first 8 eps on Youku because they have more scenes, we don’t know.

We don't know what they've cut or what they haven't, but WOWOW has aired plenty of scenes that are quite gay. There are more scenes focused on the criminal cases, but the novel is also more focused on the cases, so that's just staying true to the novel.

WOWOW never once said they would pull the series if it was shared illegally, those are just rumors. They just sent out a warning, but they didn't state what would happen if people don't listen.

they didn't say they would do that, no way would the stop airing it just because a few people are posting clips from the episodes on twitter. they're just asking/warning people not to do it, but that's normal, japan always does that with their tv shows.

Why?

The first 8 episodes all came out in February 2023 on Youku but it suddenly stopped airing, then it got sold to WOWOW in Japan and all 30 episodes started airing in March 2025. So it didn't air for the 2 years in between.

No but there’s a chance they shot two endings, like Word of Honor, and maybe Japan bought/got sold the good ending. at least that’s what I hope.
