Yes I just saw the trailer for the next episode. But yea from what I saw though in ep 7, it looked like the dragon deity would be uninterested, but i changed my mind after seeing ep 8 preview

It's ok i replayed the scenes to understand them better, I gave this drama a lot more attention than i gave any other drama

I thought he just created ji ling, because he never treated ji ling as a fragment of his soul(?), and just a puppet, and he never believed he had feelings. So I thought that ji ling and dragon deity will be seperate entities.

I'm not sure i understand, but ji ling has the memories even if he dies, because the dragon deity will create him again. And ji ling loves lu wuyi. The dragon deity doesn't (as of now).

Yes they have met in the past, but even in the past it was still ji ling. The dragon deity never ventured out himself. All the puppets that went out are ji ling, and ji ling has their memories. So yes, it's lu wuyi x ji ling not lu wuyi x dragon deity, I don't think the dragon deity will ever like lu wuyi, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

I feel like things are gonna get messy, because jjy now has to kill the dragon deity, I think ji ling will betray dragon deity(just my theory) and that ji ling will go against him. And also I don't think dragon deity will ever like lu wuyi. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but it seems like the dragon deity is going down the antagonist path by the looks of ep 7. Let's see how it unfolds!
