I was really looking forwaed to watching this but i dunno if my heart can take the angst. Also why does it show LYF S1 on wetv? Did they divide the episodes?

I keep rewatching some fave scenes 1. Naughty ZY and her antics on the way to see the doctor to heal SY 2. Encounter with emperor dad 3. Couple moments after ZY punishment 4. All scenes after SY's death to this tribulation basically 35-38 all the while starting from 1 Just cant let go of this yet

no complaints about the long post... :) unlike you i had watched a handful of xianxia and TLP is added to my BEST list. rewatching it from the beginning also. I have reconciled myself with the ending. Mom really did ingrained in XY's heart the love others more than self. even years of brainwashing from GM could not undo what good his mom taught him.
Because a lot of people can not distinguish between characters and acting. And this is a serious issue I seen…
sadly that is true. :( I hope to see more mature critiquing than unreasonable bashing in the future. overall tho I am lucky to have meet people like you waverlinda Moonlight and a lot more who write sincere thoughts about the drama. It makes the watching experience a lot more fun.
i still can't get over why so many people have negativity with RM or ZY. Tbh i think her acting is also really and she is the embodiment of ZY book version. Her actions are childlike and not childish in the early episodes. She is free spirited. She is not the ethereal beauty in most xianxia but then that is how she is written in the book and in this drama. I am no fan of hers since this is my first time watching her in a drama. As for Xiao Zhan, he's did the role perfectly and I knew he would. I had only watched two of his dramas (OME and Oath) and both times he nailed his role. Even so, it would be give it all to XZ, FL also did a good job here.
I think the only thing that can heal my broken heart from this drama is another drama of xz and ren minðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜…
Same, i still seem to be kinda depressed and cheated. thankfully i had the book version so I sort of imagine them in that version. I really have no problem with TLP and still really like it, just can't wrap my head over the ending. Day 1, I'm devastate, Day2, In denial Day 3, I'm so-so. Anyway, check out , i had posted the book version. It's just a summary but best to read, it will be a total treasure . I can't get over why TLP drama did not adapt the 2nd part of the book.

About to finish Ten Sorcerers came, Grand Master is healing SY, ZY was there to fight and fend them off and showed off how strong she is. after which she was forced to give the jade bone back to SY due to Grand Master's threat against her clan and making her believe she will again cause SY's death. they returned to each other's lives. ZY was betrothed to Bai Fanglen, they went to get the emperor's approval. SY was there with the emperor. his father is sick and dying. SY will send congratulatory gifts the day after to the red clan house but the night before he visited ZY asking if she is set to marry BF and ZY affirm with Grand Master's thread in mind. SY was also set to choose a Bai princess to marry visited white clan during lantern festival, princesses got ready but XY tried to commit suicide because ShiYu is dead. SY saved her and asked her to be crown princess. On the day of the delivery of the edict, ZY got from ZY the jade pendant given by SY and robbed the imperial envoy the edict and when to see SY. They spent the night together at the white tower (presumed they had sex but no explicitly stated). before dawn ZY want to go home and act like nothing happened. SY was furious about this and asked Chong Min to send ZY back. CM did not budge and would not obey. CM also told SY about some agreement of ZY and Grand Master. SY asked Zy about it but he almost guessed the whole story. Servants were looking for SY since emperor is dying. the night before they cant go to the white tower CM is guarding hahaha. ZY went with SY to see the emperor. Emperor gave the jade bone to Zy and showed his approval. Grand Master killed by Sage. ZY went looking for Sumo, was intercepted by BF but he was afraid to offend SY. Sage attacked tower, SY asked CM to look for ZY as she can fight with him . Fight started. ZY arrived later. They fought hard. Houtu ring sort of protected them. it was a draw. Zy woke up in the chamber of empress. They talked. They talked about their offspring and how they will protect future kongsan, ZY was shy thinking about it also said she cant handle children and SY said he will and if they are naught he can punish them like he did to her. ZY asked SY what about other children in the harem and if SY had chosen who to marry from the white clan. Thinking about it made her cry and SY informed her that there will be no problem since he wont be emperor and she cried more because she is the reason he wont be. SY told her it is also for his sake because he cannot just take any random women and as she cried SY kissed him
