Chingu me too. I was so speechless on how things unfold in the ending totally went off course. My only consolation is that at the end we were given some hope. TlBFAD ending kind of thing. We can assume at least. It would have been interesting if they at leasr based it on the novel on the ending part, how OTP got togethet and how they fought tpgether. if one is unbiased against FL, you can see how innocent she is but is naturally flirtatious. Not like she is out there to seduce SY, she is as afraid of him as she is as infatuated to him and she is not even aware of the magnitude of here feelings at all making the interaction between them so sweet. On the other hand, DSM's is such a manipulator. I can understand that he looks after SY like he is his child but this is with an ulterior motive and because SY is Bai Yan's child.
TBH I put this on hold for a bit, I just can't take the angst coming. I will binge watch once 31-40 is out but can't help and check a bit of the preview and my heart is aching for our leads. I dunno know tho if I can control myself not watching hahaha. I just hope the next 10 episodes won't be rushed as there are still a lot that needs to be resolved esp the relationship with the ML and FL.
This show is so good, this could go as long as 50 eps and still showcase a lot. Reading the novel, TLP drama is not really the exact adaptation but I'm glad that it is not.
