The acting is pretty great all around, and from KT and Neo in particular. I love First and know he can be great so I'm looking forward to seeing more to his character. So far, the story is intriguing but the pacing, editing, and sound mixing are somewhat shoddy especially from a GMM production (and one so highly anticipated too). I know just as filming began there was some covid quarantining that happened and they also seemed to have pushed this one to air very very quickly. That will certainly contribute to a less quality product. Overall, it's a solid late summer addition and hopefully will improve in the coming weeks.
Agree. I am just putting all my trust and faith on New Siwaj for Between Us. I dont know what i would do if Between…
Exactly! That is my most anticipated drama of the year and i've been anxious for ages watching each of of his latest dramas just be... not very good. Thankfully so far this one is lovely.

Additionally, this was in the top 3 of my most looked forward to BLs of 2022 and I've been excited about it for like a year now, so I'm deeply grateful that it's already so good.
I LOVED the first episode. The cinematography is lovely and the indie vibes are a giving ITSAY energy. Earth and Santa's characters have such a sweet but complex relationship. I love the stark contrasts of their personalities that somehow suit each other just right. Also, once again Earth shows off his ability to create a layered, nuanced performance. I really feel for Eiw and his sometimes socially-crippling introversion coupled with his need to control situations and follow rigid rules and structure in order to avoid chaos. I love how Cake tries to push Eiw out of his comfort zone but also doesn't force him. This show is like what if someone with anxiety and OCD and a person with hyperactive type ADHD were besties and in secretly love with each other. I have no idea where this story will lead but I'm just happy to follow along. And bless New Siwaj for reaffirming my faith in his directorial skills. He was on thin ice for a while there.
This was so incredibly good and layered. I was actually shocked. The only things that stood out as being not so great 1) the opening segment with the award show (awkward) and 2) the lack of translations for the many many text features (google translate and I watched together). Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by the acting, particularly from Seng, but also by the complex and nuanced plot and characters. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
This had the bare bones of what could have been a great story. The final episode shoehorned in so much thinned out plot that should have been delivered over the course of the series. I really dont know what the producers were trying to do here. Not even bounprem (as incredible as they always are) could save this. the whole series needed some serious writers workshopping.
There is two things I am unable to understand no matter how hard I try : Quantum physics and people who rate a…
Many people change their ratings as they watch. For instance, I usually wait at least a few episodes before I rate something (however if something is amazing right out the gate I’ll rate it immediately) but then once I rate it, I continue to adjust my ratings as I watch each episode. Some people do the same from the first episode. Rarely does anyone bother to rate each individual episode on the episode pages or wait until the final episode to give an overall series rating. Just wait a bit an the score will adjust over time.
And sure there are those people who rate something and never change it. Some may be doing so to show support for a favorite actor or director. Some may just forget to ever change their rating. But tbh it won’t matter in the long run as more people watch and rate. Just give it some time.
What’s actually annoying is those shows that somehow get a rating when not even one episode has been shown yet. I don’t even understand how that happens but it’s frustrating.
They swear a LOT. It probably has too many curse words to stay under the threshold. It also says it’s for violence…
Lol. I get what you mean. There isn’t anything above an 18+ and there are markers for how many curse words can be used in each rating. There are many instances in which just one extra swear word pushes a movies/show into a higher rating. It’s dumb that the system lumps vastly different media together like this, but that’s just how it’s set up.
They swear a LOT. It probably has too many curse words to stay under the threshold. It also says it’s for violence but idk what Thailand’s rules are regarding violence in media.
